Thank you Sir .I won't be using the files as they are, I will be editing them to tone down my level of cheat i am comfortable with. Dropping a few settlers seems a good one to know .. Thanks JR
BUG/Problem if not a bug. Tried out getting some settlers. It works as described, placing #settlers you want. However one big problem, I cannot trade with them .,. I want to load them up & the buggars just talk at me so I cannot open a trade window. Shutdown the game totally and started again, still the same problem, current settlers unaffected & i can trade with them, Damn .. this was the but I wanted : (
this works for me, I been using it for a long time now and it is also a bat file which will spawn a settler then you'll have to enter the workshop mode and move them to a settlement

TIP: and you can always open the inventory of any actor you want if you open the console and click on them and type "openactorcontainer 1" and trade with them all you want even take all of their stuff, I made it into a bat file and called it "Inv" so I don't have to type that command everytime
