does this fix reactor enb's foliage flickering? it's so annoying when you have mods like A forest and true grass which make the flickering more obivious
P.S do i just download the reshade then put it into the fallout 4 folder, then install your amazing mod which might be perfect for me into the fallout 4 folder and it should be ready to go? any additonall options to download or anything? sorry i'm new to modding so step-by-step helps me out alot!
Hey! There's nothing wrong in learning something new! Nobody was born knowing to mod s#*! lol. CMAA should be on the mod folder, as long as you pasted everything in the folder in the reshade-shaders folder, it should appear in the effects list in reshade in game. maybe try reinstalling. As for the Motion Vectors, it's no longer needed in the updated version of my preset, try the new version, image is 99% as good as the first version, but 200% easier to install.
Your preset is absolutely gorgeous, but sadly for me I am encountering some kind of ghosting when having the "DAMP RT A25" on (Example), turning it off solve the problem but makes it like 50% less beautiful :x. Is there any settings I can toggle to fix this?
Thanks!! Happy to know you liked it! About your question, yes, the DAMP RT shader needs motion vectors to estimate the next frames that will be displayed on screen to properly render the GI effect, these motion vectors are provided by the motion vectors plugin included in the files. Take a look in the reshade menu if you have the motion vectors shader/plugin enabled! If it is disabled, please enable it, if it is already enabled, you may need to set the Preprocessor Definitions for RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_ to INVERTED and see if fixes the problem. Please tell me if it works.
Sorry! Just now I saw the video you provided! I noticed that you do not have the motion vectors effect on the list, that is what is causing the problem. If the one I provided in the files doesn't work, please download and install from here, it will sure fix the problem: https://gist.github.com/martymcmodding/69c775f844124ec2c71c37541801c053
hi, i think i have the same issue with ghosting. there's an error with the motion vectors effect, it shows up in red in the list and when i hover it it says :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\reshade-shaders\Shaders\QUINT_motionvectors. fx(84, 1): preprocessor error: could not open included file 'QUINT\Global.fxh' C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\reshade-shaders\Shaders\QUINT_motionvectors.fx(85, 1): preprocessor error: could not open included file 'QUINT\Depth. fxh'
i used both the file from your mod and the one from the link you posted (i'm guessing they're actually the same) and it doesn't work
Hello! Not really, the only diference should be image stabillity, maybe 1% more ghosting than the original version. Not worth it messing with motion vectors just for that imo. But image quality wise there should be no diference at all.
I was having this issue as well. I wasn't able to fix it sadly so I disabled the RT shader all together. As you said it's less beautiful but hey, it's still really good.
I do have a question for you as well. That being what HUD preset are you using? It looks nice.
Hey! Thanks for the message, and sorry for taking so long to answer, I was very busy with work this last month. The HUD mod I use is this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/54667 All credits to the author, thats a very very nice HUD mod he made.
The game is actually oversharpened in my opinion, when light affects fog it tends to make the ambient "blurred", i simulate this effect with the ambient light fx and gaussian blur fx, you can turn those off in the reshade menu and see if it fits your taste better.
