It worked really well! I am using a mod collection: A story wealth. So didnt change the weather mod they use. They are using True Storm. I installed my preffered enb, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/55662 It was close to what i wanted but not quite. So i tried to fiddle with the settings, but, i am no expert. I manage to do something decent. But i wasnt happy since i was still shopping. lol I just installed your ini in my root FO4 folder, as instructed. Man, its EXACTLY the look i was going for. Sharp, crisp, not full of joyful color, but not dark and depressed either. Not too bright, and not too dark. Its perfect!

Nha don't be afraid. I don't know what is your pc, but mine is a mid level gaming pc built 2 years ago. The mod list is curated by a whole team. Seriously, don't be afraid. Yes the game take a little while to lead, but not like 5 minutes. i think it takes me 1-2 minute to load. I installed that collection PLUS more of my own mods. lol I am at maximum BA2 limit. But i can play for 6 hours non stop without any bug or ctd. Its seriously really stable. They make all the mods work together, squash any bugs. And they are very cautious with it too. They take a long time to integrate anything new, they work on it and make it stable before they launch anything. ITs not just someone who made a list of mods. No. Its an actual team of pros making sure you have the best experience possible. I wish Beth would love the game as much as them. There is also a discord server with an actual team answering questions. I tested them. They are active 24/7. There is either always someone playing or a team member online. Some live in Asia so just by the nature of the team composition, it makes it so that someone is available to help you. Really, you should give it a try. You will regret if you don't. And you should do it before the update. Because the mod list work and is stable with this version of FO4. Its your decision. But i strongly suggest you do!
I put a few mods from the list in mine. There's really good stuff there.I may not download the update because many (or all...) mods will then no longer be compatible.
For example, Witcher 3 looks better to me with all mods than the next gen update
Yes! Same for me. I use HD texture already, and the collection make the game REALLY smooth. no crash, no stutter everything fluid all the time. Even in cities. So i will not update. I will update when A story wealth will update. Thats it! Glas you found some mod you liked. I dont know if you are able to patch your own game, if you can good. If you cannot, i higly suggest to download the whole collection and try it. You will see what i mean! Keep on rocking!
