When I install your mod, it repairs Nick's skin so you can no longer see the metal parts underneath. Any suggestions?

I know this is months off from when you brought this up but make sure textures\actor\character\FaceCustomization\Fallout4.esm doesn't have any 00002F24_.dds files leftover from another mod.

And I know I'm a few months after the last reply, but I cracked open the mod - there's no transparency/alpha on the replacement texture like there is in vanilla - it's a pretty easy fix if you're handy with a photoediting program, I was able to do it in a few moments.

Dude, if you could upload it or something, that would be awesome! I can't do stuff like that myself.

    endorsed... thank you!

i, too, was VERY surprised by the terrible default face textures.

you mod keeps with original lore, but adds MUCH needed detail.

(note: have tried a few Nick face mods... others are drastic, mismatched, and immersion breaking)

The screenshots for both of these mods are very small. Could you add few screenshots to both of these so people would actually be interested better in these?

could you do a comparison picture of in game and the actual textures? It's hard to tell with the pretty small picture you used.

can't get any closer up in his face than I was when taking that screenshot. it's as big as it gets. I could resize the pic itself, but then again, you could just as well save the pic and zoom in on it

you can use, the command tfc 1 to freeze the screen and move around then use the command fov 30 to get a better image of his face, this can help alot, but i will download right now since he is one of the most cool companions

I don't think zooming in on a picture is going to show an accurate comparison.
It's more than likely going to make it look worse. Maybe. I could totally be wrong tho.

that was my point. resizing it would be the same as zooming in.

I think he was looking for more a standard screenshot. The image on your other mod (the clothes) is actually what he was looking for I think. It's full size, and gives a little better idea.

Or you could post the actual texture files compared.

I wouldn't download textures from someone that thinks zooming in will help with detail. They're most likely just resized to 2x and sharpened.

Kintsy, my point was that re-sizing the picture would be the same as zooming in and wouldn't help at all in showing the texture details...

it's not a new look. I simply upped the dpi to 2048 x 2048 and sharpened the texture to give more "life" to it. He still looks like the same ol' Nick, but with more crisp and detailed skin.
Also, you should see how it looks in-game before you open your mouth. You haven't even downloaded the mod

Thanks for this. I like Nick also, but hooboy did they give him kind of a shitty texture.

yeah, there was no depth in it at all.
