For some reason I guess loose files overwrite archives even if they are lower in file load order, could be just me though.
This is to get this version updated before I eventually remake my own version of the armor. As I talked about in the comments, I would like to make a full quest mod inspired by the original Widow armor mod. With me making it from scratch (3d model and all) I will be able to make variants of the armor models. The remake will take time, and I would need to learn a lot to not make it feel lazily slapped into the world.
Hey there, I'm trying to change the hood, especially the maskeless version, so that masks and other face covers can appear (in my case the gas mask with goggles. I've managed to edit the hood with F04edit to make it be wearable with the gas mask, but the mask does appear at all and I can see my character's face just fine. Could you point me towards a possible way to make the mask appear if that's at all possible? Thank you a lot for making these changes to the mod :)
My only complaint is that, atleast as I can see, the different color options on the coat are unlabeled, so you don't specifically know what your changing unless you stop and look at your character after every swap.
There are not arms under the jacket as the "bodysuit" is a nude body textured differently lol I could do that, but I feel my energy is better put to making a full from scratch remake. Which I have a lot of ideas for I just need to learn more on how to manipulate FO4's material system.
Hello hello, I must say, I thought the Widow armour and shotgun were perfect, yet you went in and added a certain flair, a beautiful veil of mystique, the other coloured garments represent phantom widow sisters of times past, protecting her from the shadows, at least that's my view on it, it's a rather pleasant touch.
Hence why I am so hellbent on making this mod work fully, the colour options are available for the armour and hood, shotgun addons work flawlessly, the issue is with the gloves, you see, try as I might, I can't get the colour schemes to function for them.
I ticked the first checkbox, installed the male version without the esp, only the files, I use CBBE, and I don't use Horizon, if these notes are worth mentioning.
I even made a new instance in MO2 with all mods disabled except the ones related to this mod and started a new playthrough, same issue.
I don't know what else to do, any help would be truly appreciated and I would be eternally grateful.
I'm an idiot, I forgot to make contractible objects for the gloves colors. Gonna work on 2.0 update now. Expect this to be fixed tomorrow at the latest.
My oh my, the relief you brought with this knowledge is sublime, thank you kindly, I was going insane trying to figure it out, yet don't be too harsh on yourself, mistakes occur, happens to the best of us, I wish you a wonderful rest of your day.
I really like this, but the sight for the sawn off barrel is misaligned for me for some reason. After some messing around I learned that it was from my animation replacer (BF1 Double Barrel Shotgun specifically) for the default double barrel shotgun. So if anyone runs into that issue as well, that was my solution hope it helps someone.
Got it. Though I did attempt to see if that was case by installing the horizon patch and starting a new game to see the same result however I'm not actually using horizon so that most likely is the reason.
Hi! I really like the mod but I'm having some glitch in the first person animations: the armor doesn't appear so you can see only the gloves flying in the air (for exemple opening a vault). is there any way to fix it?
Weird, I never had this issue before. How did you install it, what (if any) patches did you install. Did you install this before you obtained the armor?
I didn't install any patch, I'm not using CBBE, high heels or horizon, and I installed it after I obtained the armor. But that was not a problem, I just went again to the tomb to pick up the gloves. When I installed it it was in conflict with the original mod, so I chose to load your mod after, and I disabled the .esp for the mail version. It's not a very big problem to me because I play mostly in third person, but it's a beautiful mod I think, so if there's a way to fix it, it can be great.
I'm not sure of this issue. Have the original load first, then my expansion. If you're using the male version then make sure you have that installed and enabled BUT you do not have the plugin active for the male version
Hello. I have the same issue, the original mod and the male version were installed first, then I have installed this mod wuth CBBE patch. Even though I have found the armor before the installation of this mod, I have tried to get the armor once again (with additem mod), it doesn't help. Your work is really good and this is not a big problem, but still it would be great to fix this
Creating via player.additem doesn't work for me with the EditorID (Item 'DXM_BlackWidowArmor' not found for Parameter ObjectID / compiled script not saved), only via the FormID xx006BEC. I tried writing it myself and copying it from this site.
-------------------------------------------------
Now to my problem and my solution: While the original mod worked great for me with ECO, LEO & NEO, there seem to be problems with this extension. On any workbench (vanilla or mod), none of the three items, neither helmet, armor, nor gloves, have their own processing options, none apart from those of ECO and LEO.Whenever I try to convert something there, I get stuck in the workbench and can't go back.
After trial and error, I downloaded the version for the "guy" which I thought I didn't actually need and it worked!
Did I misunderstand something in the description? I thought "support" meant that you can have it, but you don't have to?
weird, Could be something I never thought would happen. The male version, which is in the formID in the expansion regardless, points to it's file path. From your descriptions of events, it seems that if you are missing something in that file path the armor just won't work?
If that's the case, I stated in the requirement section to also install the male version. You only need the files from the male version, not the plugin from it.
