I wanted to replace the Fire Barrel meshes in the game with something higher quality, but my OCD went off the rails like always and here we are!
Fire barrels (and any mesh with animations) is not included in the precomb system. This does not have any effect on precomb so it's fully compatible with the base game, PRP, etc. This is one of the rare statics that can be swapped at runtime without issue.
OVERVIEW
Barrel Bonanza does three things:
It does the above without affecting precombines because meshes with animations (like the fire barrels) are never included in precombine data to begin with. It's one of the rare world models that can be replaced without issue.
It does not replace the non-fire barrels, as those ARE part of the precombine system.
It also currently does not replace the wire trash can barrels. I'm working on that.

There's so much good stuff out there I decided to just go shopping and buy/modify some good barrels to save time.

OVERVIEW
Barrel Bonanza does three things:
- Replaces the three vanilla fire barrels with three new, unique, high quality models feature new VFX, built-in lights, heat refraction, and more. The main fire barrel has "real" fire now instead of the cheaper flames.
- Adds 15 craftable fire barrel variants to the Workshop menu, including Vault-Tec, Poseidon Energy/Oil, Red Rocket. (Under Decorations > Misc with the base game campfires, barrels, and lanterns.)
- If you have Base Object Swapper installed (not required!), the fire barrels through the game will be randomized to one of the 45 different permutations utilizing 5 different meshes and 15 texture swaps.

INSTALLATION
- Install and go, make sure it's lower in your load order to overwrite any textures/meshes for the base game barrels.
- If you have Base Object Swapper installed the INI file will be detected automatically and will randomize the barrels.
