A Combine/Universal Union overhaul for the Institute.

Description
This mod is a comprehensive replacer for the Institute, utilizing several mods to turn the faction into the Combine/Universal Union from the Half-Life series.


Features
Most Institute personnel now use an assortment of Combine gear, based on their rank.

Lowest-level synths are now Grunts, utilizing either the USP Match or MP7.
Low to medium-level synths, striders, and troopers are now Soldiers, utilizing either the MP7 or AR2.
Synth leaders are now Ordinals, utilizing the AR2.
All other named synth sub-types are Shotgun Soldiers, utilizing the SPAS-12.
All legendary synth variants and coursers (including X6-88) are now Elites, utilizing the AR2 and its alt-fire.
Institute agents and scientists on field missions will use Combine Hazmat suits.
Institute workers and Gen 3 synths will use variations of the Combine Worker suits.
Additionally, the synths that appear in Diamond City after the Institute main quest will use Civil Protection gear.


Future Plans
I plan on expanding upon the Civil Protection presence in Diamond City, as well as adding more CPs in other major settlements once the Institute main quest is completed. There are also plans to replace further aspects of the Institute with Combine equivalents, such as in-game textures, insignia, names, and potentially even dialogue (à la Minutemen NCR Overhaul).


Known Bugs
1. The model for the Overwatch Pulse Rifle is slightly bugged when used by synths. This does not occur with Coursers or non-synth NPCs.

2. The model for the Overwatch USPs used by the Gen 1 synths in Kellogg's memory sequence are bugged. This does not occur outside of this scene.

3. In this same scene, the game may crash when Kellogg kills the Gen 1 synths. Save the game right before this sequence and brute force it until the game doesn't crash.

Report any other bugs that you come across in your playthrough.


Compatibility/Load Order
Our Benefactors directly edits the outfit lists and inventories of most Institute-related NPCs, as well as the race/skin/model data of all Gen 1 & 2 synths. To ensure these changes properly carry over, place OB below the requirements and any mods that edit the same values.
Mods that add new Institute outfit lists or NPCs that don't adhere to vanilla templates will likely not properly carry over changes from OB unless patched.
