How would this work with directional damage mods or example? Would it only affect the worn pieces? If so, this could be a lightweight alternative for Bastion...
I changed the mult value to 0.600000 assuming that if DirectHit was only taking into account one armor piece that would be 60% reduction. Instead it made me invincible and enemies would just flee from me without even trying to attack which is the reaction I believe they made if you're invulnerable. As such the locational damage mods like DirectHit still appear to be taking into account the 7% as this mod states.
Hi! I found your mod during my searching for better power armor mods, all the popular ones seem to break after the next gen update. I loaded your mod in F04Eidt and realized it was just a simple tweak on one MGEF value(0.05->0.07).
According to your explanation this is the value represents how many % income damage can be negated. Because 2% was not a very noticeable change for me, I went ahead and modified this value to 0.16666, which in theory should negate 99.9996% income dmg if wearing all 6 pieces. However, this was apparently not working, I still took the same amount of dmg as usual. So are you certain this is the only value needs to be changed to achieve this purpose?
UPDATE: Nvm your theory is obviously correctly, it's my tesla addon mod messed things up!! I am so glad I found your mod, I think i am able to create something very similar to bastion with your mod and GCM while doing absolutely minimal amount of tweaking, thanks man!!
Cant wait to Download this, when my gaming computer is working again. I often enjoy running the T45 later into the game than most and this will help. I understand it correctly it boosts the "lower "levels of Power Armor more than the higher ones, since the buff is tied to the numerical incoming damage not the numerical damage rating of the armor so a lower level armor will get the exact same numerical damage buff as the higher level ones and since the lower ones have lower DR it will work out to be a higher %age of damage resisted in say a T45c than in a T60f. :)

For me energy damage is not reduced.
Edit: It was because of old version of "Energy Weapon Calculation Fix".
