We need some more mods like this, something so that you don't end up in the wasteland completely skills-less. I mean, the guy's a former soldier and the lady's a lawyer for crying out loud! You'd think they'd have some starting perks instead of being completely blank when they emerge. I mean, I know its for the sake of role-playing but it still bugs me.
Question: are all the perks referenced in this mod added at game start, or is there a trigger in the mod proper. Let's say I wanted this mod active for future playthroughs, but have no plans on using it on this particular save. Are the perks always active?
Nice .bat file and backstory. I essentially have a similar approach to the character I've played, and use some of the same perks, the BoS uniform, and gun, although I usually take up the ppk once I have it from the quest.
If you don't I may end up doing something similar when the G.E.C.K comes out except with an actual container and (hopefully) custom armor. Maybe make it into a fully fleshed out backstory quest line with a military base with old holotape mission reports.
If your are a Special agent i feel like you would have already read all the covert operations manuals. I personally fell like you would have and so with my play through of this i gave myself all the magazines to start with
So the solid steel gun you had didnt make the 200 year journey but the cloth BOS suit and 20,000 packs of cigarettes littering the countryside make it no problem.
I like your mod idea but i honestly think you could leave the gun in there since you get 10mm pistols so easy anyway. Or is it left out because they randomly generate with a bunch of mods already on them?
I left it out because you literally start the game with a 10mm, there is no reason to give people another one. I mean if we're really gonna pick it apart why would your character have a brotherhood of steel uniform from before the war(and the brotherhood's existence)?
If I wasn't 30 hours deep, I'd love this mod. BoS Officer outfit is probably my most favourite undersuit.
Another really nice looking leg armor piece is the Mantis left greave, I can't wait until someone mods a right-leg option for that, as it meshes really well with the black undersuit.
