My comment and expertise on this subject matter is important. I am criticizing your work because I am a talent-less ass-hat who has never contributed a mod to the community but still feel that my opinion on other people's work is relevant.
Seriously though, this is a really well made addition to the wasteland that I enjoy using on my enemies.
The thing is on COD guns it's always restricted to how it was in the call of duty game. If he could create the MG42 variant, even is it's based on the 34 but still different, the firerate of it doubles. MG34 had around 800-900 rpm. MG42 had up to 1800 RPM, means would also need another sound loop. So there are bassically 2 things which restricting it to do.
The belt is wrong. If you ripped it directly from COD, then whatever company is currently or was at the moment making that game fucked it up, but you could make it much better, by fixing their error. MG 34, MG 42 and MG 3/4/5 belts look different and it is important, because the bullet doesn't get pulled out of the belt (which the belt used in your screenshots would require) but the bullet is getting pushed out of the belt into the breech.
Bravo! The textures are really good, and it comes with its own ammunition 7.92. You can craft huge amount ammo with just 2 lead, I just deleted M60 mod for this. However, it's kind of confusing. The colors are not merged into material section, you have to craft different types of this weapon. But there are no preview images for them, so you have to recognize them by names. And also the crafted MG82 are not default type. They will have multiple moddings which makes them not started with letter "M". That would take players lots of time locating them in inventory. Some QoL updates would make this masterpiece even better I'd say.

Didn't know a proper MG34 is existing here with the real mauser rounds (7.92x57) Really appreciate it.
Since playing Fallout London currently there is a different MG34/42 mod included as Londons vanilla gun as a replacement for the minigun, but which weirdly using 5mm or specially the british 303. caliber. ö.Ö Least immersive which exist, also the gun was extremely weak, had to increase base dmg immdetiatelly myself (well a real bethesda minigun at all..) But somehow still not using it, somehow I don't feel it.
I'll change the ammo crafting from the chem station to the FO London ammo workbench and change the recipe to craft, it's not fitting compared to the other ammo types which you can craft there. xD (Maybe something like 1-2 lead, 1 fertilizer and 1 or 2 copper for 20 rounds. Have to think about it- oh and wil add it to the item sorting of course xD)
