    Any chance you would be interested or have advice on making a version of this where it only distributes to Brotherhood? Perhaps replacing all brotherhood laser weapons with the Wattz? so it could be a "Faction weapon"

    Attempting to use this mod causes CTD upon getting to the start menu. I am using downgrade patcher. Possible this mod used BA2 archiving from Next Gen update thus no longer works with older, superior version of game 1.10.163 due to the overwhelming mod support. If using BA2 archiving from NG would recommend you make version for 1.10.163 that most are still playing on.

      This mod only has loose files, so whatever problem you're having isn't related to this mod, at least regarding the proper BA2 archive version.

    Great work on the mod but I'm so confused about why unofficially adding the Wattz Lazer with DankRafft ECO REDUX but his same WOP Weapon Overhaul Project already includes compelete official support is older by 1 month only than yoi unofficial update so I'm puzzled y u made this

    No idea if this is just something I've done wrong or maybe a next-gen issue or even a reportable bug at all, but I keep getting errors in Mod Organizer 2 that this mod and the Unofficial Update itself won't work because they depend on the Wattz Laser Gun ESP even though I have clearly installed the Wattz Laser Gun and have had it marked as active.

    I appreciate the game consistency. Institute weapons should share the same ammo type regardless of firing mode but deal less damage than their regular counterparts.

    The charging modification gives the gun an endless clip similar to the legendary effect

    Reverting your edits to the weapon mod fixed it completely (after a quick run to the weapon mod bench as the data had not updated until doing that)

    Looks like the third person animations have the same issue as so many other mods. At least in Power Armor. The one where you walk really slowly and can't backpedal.

      Confirmed, just tested it myself. It would also be really cool to get a version of this mod that is just the animation fixes in a file that is compatible with the base unoffical wattz update.

    Why differentiate with the ammo type for the Institute? All automatics should use electron charge packs as this is specifically used for automatic lasers (and tesla weapons) if you are following lore usage. Honestly surprised there hasn't been a revamp yet for vanilla weapons to do this, I started making one but have held off finishing it due to other things. In the least can we get a side patch that makes Institute weapons follow the same standard?

      The idea behind the Institute using regular Microfusion Cells for automatic lasers is because from a lore perspective they are very utilitarian in their design and philosophy. My idea was, for them, it wouldn't be worth adopting and mass-producing a new weapon if they couldn't maintain a singular ammo type, that being Microfusion Cells. That's what the Prototype Institute Wattz rifle is, a prototype Wattz laser utilizing an overhauled internal mechanism that they created specifically for their own needs.

      As for making the normal automatic lasers use ECP, you should check out my other mod, LPPO. However, that same type of utilitarianism in the Institute's weapon design philosophy is still present for Institute lasers in that mod.
