Not the most historically accurate mod all things considered, as the AR-10 was made with polymer furniture from the beginning, but I do like the look of wood furniture, and I think it makes sense given the oil shortages in lore probably leading to the retention of wood furniture on standard issue rifles like the R91 and Service Rifle. The wood texture itself is a fairly rudimentary generation in gimp that I think looks alright, but not really as woody as other textures on the nexus that do use actual images of wood.
