hello and thank you i think the bridge is simple and at the same time blends in very well with the rest i love the simple but effective barriers on the other hand it's a shame about the junction of the roads at least from the sanctuary side you can see the junction and it's not natural that would be the thing to improve thank you deserves more visibility
Beautiful bridge, nicely done; however, the ramshackle wooden post-war version lays on top of it like my ex-wife after too many shots of tequila and just fell asleep on top :(
either the utilizer or the precombination one of them overwrites the location unfortunately there are no patches for them unless someone else has done it
I used this mod in the past and it worked fine. I reinstalled the game and some mods, and now your bridge is there, but the old wooden bridge is there too, sitting on top of yours.
I have Scrap Zapper 2 and Immersive Scrapping mods installed, do I need some other scrap mod? FWIW, I have no other bridge or Sanctuary mods installed.
try to see the address of the bridge in the game using the extended console and which mod holds it, but there is a suspicion that the mod is a precombination or scrap
Wooden bridge makes no ****ing sense. This game takes place in the atomic era, LONG after all wooden bridges in the U.S. were replaced with steel. It's ridiculous to have a kid-style treehouse bridge for a small island town. Thanks for making this obvious mod.
The bridge you're talking about is a real-life bridge, and is the site of the first battle in the American Revolutionary War. Preston Garvey tells you this, if you actually follow him into Sanctuary after meeting and saving him and his group in Concord. The ENTIRE game is wrapped up in American Revolutionary era lore... with the main overarching faction of the game being named after the very soldiers who fought at that bridge... the Minutemen.
And in 200 years of neglect, a wooden bridge would have rotted and disintegrated. Wooden bridges only exist today because the city or county perform maintenance and spray chemical preservatives on the wood to keep it from rotting away.
The wooden bridge being there as a " historical " site makes sense , but for pedestrian traffic only. In reality there would have been a new bridge next to it for vehicle traffic . There are several old wooden bridges in my community that are preserved as historical sites with new bridges right next too them or not far away. There is no way a wooden bridge like that would have been able to handle residential vehicle traffic . not to mention military traffic . apc's etc. etc.
