    as per last post, brilliant idea for a mod, but...

    it wants to take the items from my workbench if i'm too close to the settlement, and if you set distance to maximum to allow best "collection" of items in the rest of the map, that means you don't have to be super close to the settlement for this to be a problem.  and i do have the setting set for it to "ignore", but obviously not working.

    is there something i might be doing wrong that might fix this issue?

    also, using this mod makes transferring items to/from my inventory to/from workbench extremely slow.  each item takes extra time, with essentially a pause between each item transfer.  it is an extremely noticeable "pause" rather than just a tiny difference.

    is there something i might be doing wrong that might fix this issue?

    i'm running on a very decent laptop, not a "potato" [i term i only just learnt so i hope i'm using it correctly], so i don't think it is a limitation due to the potential of my laptop.

    is anyone else having either of these issues?

    i would really like to use the mod, but because of the issues i've had to disable it.  the issue of wanting to take items from my workbench is annoying, but i can just choose not to take items when too close, but the dramatic increase in time taken to transfer items, especially since mod  obviously tends to ensure collecting as many items as possible, was just too much of an inconvenience.

    i really would like to use this mod.  i really think the idea is brilliant.  i'm a bit of a "collect everything i can" player, so it suits the way i want to play really really well.

    please, any help would be great.

      Just giving you some info, once you've got containers filled with enough items, it takes a few seconds for each entry to be transferred from your inventory to the container.

      sorry for the slow reply.  i havent been playing since update.  how many is "enough"?  the delay for each item is just too inconvenient unfortunately, otherwise a brilliant mod.

    what qualifies a location as settlement? i have a custom home and don't want the containers to be merged in there.


    or can you add a hotkey to turn the mod on/off? please please please.

    started a new playthrough and guns dont show in the merged corpse loot anymore. only the one gun of the corpse im currently viewing.
    does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

    maybe i've done something wrong, but i've got ignore workshop etc turned "on", but it still seems to loot my workshops

    otherwise a brilliant mod and exactly what was needed

      delete mcm/config/mergedloot/config.json and rename mcm/config/mergedloot/config_en.json to config.json .

    You have my sympathy; workshop areas can be weird. I know, for a fact, that legendary loot detectors cease to detect the stuff in a workshop zone once you own/use the workshop.

    Nice work mod. It's really convenient and I can spend my time actually having fun rather than digging through trash containers and dead bodies.

    I found a minor issue that doesn't really matter that much. If you try to inspect an item from another container, it doesn't work.

    is this an optional prompt like in fallout 76 or does it replace the open container function completely?

    Really great mod, only one little problem.... this mod lets you steal with no repercussion.

      well, this mod works as "prevent crime".

      this mod does'nt work for alive npc, so can't use for pickpoket.

      and, this mod always check owner, so can't use for steal.

      if you find situation which pickpoket or steal, please post what you find.

      You can go to an owned container and open up the loot menu, you can take everything without issue. I also noticed universal workbench still doesn't use nearby containers.  Still awesome though! endorsed.

      i try steal item from covernant's mailbox with codsworth, and it was notify hatred about stealing. i think it is not "without issue". maybe "without issue" is caused by just luckyly not detected by owner.

      and, universal workbench (maybe item of E.C.O.) is doesn't use near containers of course.

      because this mod works in only container menu. not in crafting menu.

      I was caught Stealing in Diamond City, so mostly working as intended. was able to steal from the cats without issue.
