An interesting aside: this also affects missile turrets. Some super mutants attacked one of my settlements and hilarity ensued as my missile turrets spammed them with nukes. I couldn't find any traces of the bodies after my screen blacked out from so many nukes going off at once.
OH OH Hombres... what about my "Flying Personal Vertibirds now? One of the front gun options is "MISSILES" could be a hidden bonus cause I use them to run cover and orbit areas ... HO HO HO Double bonus!! using FPV Vertibird you can also configure the side mini gun to use explosive missiles.. all my NPC's are sleeping now I am planning to use TWO vertibirds first thing in the morning to secure another settlement howveer will report back... :)
** UPDATED ** the missiles firing from FRONT Vertibird guns have a small flame visible from across a river but NO big booms.. it is the SAME for the miniguns, just the normal explosive missile effect from them..
however now I can't teleport NOR exit a vertibird if I have used any of my missiles or ORBITAL STRIKES... it's if I used or the VERTI used missiles in that play through teleporting will blow everything up on arrival
Been looking for this for awhile, I really enjoyed the swappable launcher ammo mod from NV. The fact that it swaps out all enemy and turrets makes this a non starter for me at this time, but I think you are on the right track! Would that be a better way to go about it? Make different ammo instead of replacing? That would suit all, people who want the option to swap them out with standard, high explosive and nuclear options? I wish you the best luck, I will check in on your mod often and am now track you as author. Good luck! Will endorse anyway as the concept alone is worth throwing points towards.
Would it be possible to make a chamber mod so you can craft a barrel that can use this at the weapons bench? I'm guessing this is weaker than the fat man too x3
yeah crafting it at the weapon bench would be better, when I find out how to do it I will update the file, also this should be a bit stronger than the fat man because if you look at the damage it's 832 and the fat man is about 500 something not sure.
