    Hello ,is there a way to start a conversation in a more immersive manner? Like when I talk ,the npc(s) around me would have a chance to respond to me or something.  Tired of having to start conversation with npc manually.

      Hi, right now the three ways to initiate conversations, all three require manual input from the user:
      -Shooting with the gun
      -Using the hotkey
      -Using the 'R' alternative activation button.

      If I understand correctly, you'd like for conversations to start automatically when the mic picks up your voice or something to that effect?

    There should be a gigant text saying "You must have steam in a different directory if you only have one disk, otherwise be ready to uninstall steam"

      Hi, do you mean having steam in a different directory than program files? If so there are ways to circumvent that issues without uninstalling steam, they are detailed here in the instructions :

    this mod seems so cool!
    are there plans to make it read in-game vanilla dialogue and vanilla quest stages/completion, so the AI is more aware of the current state?
    Also do the NPCs have like memory of what's happened in the past?

      Hi, thanks! I would love for vanilla dialogue awareness to happen but can't promise anything right now.

      For your second question, yes they have a long term memory as long as it's a named NPC with an entry in the character database. You can make custom entries too.

    I can't get modded NPCs to talk to me on FO4, using XVASYNTH, fails to find a voice model and then cancels the conversation, what it was planning to say is still loaded into the log though

      Hi, it sounds like either you are missing models or your directory isn't set up in Mantella.
      The directory would have to be set in the Text-To-Speech tab under xVASynth Folder, It has to be the root folder for XVASynth where XVASynth.exe is located.

    this is a great mod but,
    i have a horny request could you make it work together with the mod "a Sex Mod" (a Sex Mod at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community)
    if you could do that i would be very happy :)

      While I can't say a "yes" to your request I can however tell you I'm working on adding support to make it easier for other mods to access and respond to events with Mantella.

    Can someone answer a query? Do I install the AIO using Vortex or do I install the desktop version? I installed the AIO, but get errors. I also couldn't find the config file or the exe file anywhere. I am so confused. Thank you in advance.

      Hey there, thanks for trying out the mod. Please note that the All-In-One will be the version that's supported for Mantella FO4 moving forward.

      The config file should be in your My Games/Mantella folder but you shouldn't rarely need to open it if Mantella loads correctly. The
      executable should be in \data\F4SE\Plugins\MantellaSoftware\ . Although, Mantella.exe should load automatically on game start if it's installed properly.

      What version of FO4 are you using? Can you be a little more specific in the errors you're encountering?

      Thanks so much for replying. I followed the youtube video, got everything installed but when I try to engage with an npc it says npc not added. By the way I am not using the AIO version. I am  using one of the older versions.   I am using FO4 version  1.10.163 I am going to try the AIO again and see how it goes.

    How does it work with Heather? She has her very own "voice" so Mantella will voice her Using Xvasynth Fallout 4 base voice?
    Doesn't it will sound weird to have her having two different voice between her own dialogue and those from Mantella? :/

      Yes Mantella will default to very generic models (maleboston and femaleboston) for unlisted NPCs. It does not include models for modded NPCs like Heather. Mantella is compatible with XTTS however so you might want to look into that as an alternative for voice generation if your PC can handle it.

      Hi, I'm not sure what could be causing this error but you might have a firewall preventing loopback access. I'm investigating what could be other causes for this.
