This is the most epic deathclaw texture mod I've seen yet! I love it! I know most modders get this a lot and I understand it's a lot to ask, but if possible could you port it to Bethesda.net for Xbox, if not I may be able to do it myself but I would request permission and of course I'll leave all credit to you. I play with a mod that allows me to play as a deathclaw and I would love to have this mod with that.

I'll admit I'm only using your savage, albino and eye textures, but they're still miles better than the others of their type (especially with the Beast Master Mod; Lulu looks beautiful). Do you still intend to do a 2k version?

Would a i7 5820 with a single GTX 970 be able to handle the Deathclaw 4k texture with ease?

@Dachindae - What's the default resolution of the vanilla deathclaw textures anyways? 2k? Anyways I spent some time 'oogling the Deathclaws in game with good lighting and have some constructive criticism for you so far:

    - The Albino looks good, however I don't think the claws at the hands & feet should be pure white.
    - Thank you for actually giving them eyes with an iris/pupil! The Chemeleon and Glowing Dclaws are still missing them though. I'm assuming the Glowing one not having an eye is intentional.
    - The red horns for the default & Mythic DClaws look neat, but they're also a big departure from the original texture. By all means make what you want to, but maybe finish your work on this set of textures and then have an alternate verion that's more traditional? At the momen't I'm using this for the standard Deathclaws and it looks great.
    - The Chameleon DClaw looks better, but seems maybe just a tad bland? I dunno, your thoughts?
    - The Matriarch looks very... "Uninteresting"? I guess? It's very dark, the colors on the texture don't really show up much at all, and it just seems subjectively boring compared to the rest of the group.
    - The Savage DClaw suffers the same issue as the Matriarch, but to significantly lesser degree. The blood is a neat touch to.

Besides those details the rest of the variants all look really good as far as I can tell. Great job so far man, I've been trying every Deathclaw retexture I can find on this site trying to get one that both looks good to the eye and fits the game world. Really appreciate what you've done so far.

EDIT: Which texture has the eyes? Is it it's own texture or is it combined with one of the other files? I'm trying to use your eye texture with the retexture I linked above.

Wow! Thank you for the excellent critique and comments!!
Albino has white claws because that's how they are with real reptiles, but I'll probably be adding some grey around the cuticles.
I liked giving them real eyes because it makes them look more intelligent instead of just mindless killing machines. I'll be including another version that has the vanilla eyes but I had a lot of fun with the realistic ones.
I'm working with the matriarch and the savage, I'm just having slight issues with getting a nice color scheme that I like. I'll be updating them soon!

Glowing does have a pupil, it's just that the Glow map kind of hides them. Once I can get the GECK I'll be able to improve it a little bit!

I actually can't really edit the colors for the chameleons yet! They have weird files for the color changing effects so I still have to learn what I can and can't do for that, so they aren't even included in the files. Once I figure it out I'll be including them as well. That's also why they don't have pupil eyes either, haha.

The eyes for each deathclaw are actually on each texture map, they aren't separate. I'll be putting the eyes on a separate file in Version 1.5!

Thanks for answering the question about the eyes. I don't have any programs that can open textured so I figured I would ask.

The reason I brought up the Albino's claws is that the horns & spines have a yellowish white color like keratin, yet the claws they use to grab things and walk on are pure white. It seemed more like an oversight than intentional at a glance.

it's just my personal impression but think the red-yellow spikes on the back are a little too much for the standard deathclaw.

It would more fit to one of the stronger ones e.g. Alpha or Savage.

    Really great textures.

Do you think it would be possible to have specific visuals for the mythic deathclaw?
It's a little strange that the strongest deathclaw ever looks same as the normal one.

Is it possible to make the stronger deathclaws bigger?

    That would be great.

Thank you for this awesome mod!

I would love to run these, Unfortunately my current card just doesn't handle 4k well it can do it but it begins to chug after about 30 or so minutes.
