Announcement The successor of this project is here! Please check out Unpackrr, a beautiful GUI application that does everything this program do plus more. This project will be kept up here but will unlikely receive significant updates.
This works great but still would like to extract textures as well because tools like merge plugins requires the mod to have loose files as well. I would really like to batch extract textures to streamline the process. Other than that this mod is golden and stopped my crashes on menu so thanks!
Would there be any chance to add a option to export all extracted files to a specific directly? Maininly with the idea of unpacking several small ba2 files and then using the directory they were unpacked to to then repack the contents into a new single large ba2.
Also would be great to have a 'counter' function that would check to see how many 'main.ba2' 'texture.ba2' etc types you have (as, to my knowledge, it's when you go over 256 ba2 files of an individual type that the game crashes), as this could help to give players a better understanding of their load order if it starts getting pretty heavy.
Lastly, would it be possible to have the program write a log each time it runs (possibly using date+time as the name to make each one unique) to just keep track of what ba2s in what locations had which files unpacked? That way if problems were to pop up, it would be easier to backtrack everything that changed.
Thanks for your great suggestions, yes I am considering your ideas and plot twist: some of them are included in a forthcoming GUI rewrite of the app. Stay tuned!
No matter what I do, whenever I try to run the extraction, it just doesn't extract any files. I'm so lost on this whole process, even with the AIO version.
I type the ammount I want (5MB) I just hit yes on postfix as I assumed those are the files it would extract I hit yes on all settings being correct and poof, extracted 0 files.
I might be the only dumb one here but If you're using Vortex you have to redeploy the mods and then save changes for this to work. And it works for me!

Either way, great program!
