NOTE: In order to keep NPCs from bashing, this mod must directly edit "Race" form data, and as such may conflict with some rebalances or overhauls. I recommend using FO4Edit to solve any conflicts, the only one of which should be the "Attack Chance" of "meleeAttackGun" being set to 0 instead of 1.
Melee combat can be pretty frustrating. NPCs will either bash you, staggering you and cancelling your entire attack, or block it altogether, making it do no damage. On top of all that, if your melee swing actually even does connect, it does a pitiful amount of damage that makes the whole concept basically worthless. This mod fixes 2 of those problems.
With this mod, only the player is allowed to block and bash, vastly improving the close-quarters experience since you're no longer flinching every other second from enemies slapping you or blocking your bashes. This effects humans, gen 1 & 2 synths, non-feral ghouls, power armor enemies, super mutants, and mirelurks.
