Hey I don't know if its a common issue or not, but from far away the towers have their normal textures, its not until i get close enough that your textures show up.
One probably needs to rebuild the lods to accomodate the changes in those too. I tend to usually skip that part as my gamings don't last long enough for me to notice...
Loose files are just that :) And if there is too much of them, the game will start stuttering. And the archive is just that, an archive that the game uses. Similar to zip and rar and whatever all there is.
I must say that it's better to figure it out yourself than the information handed on a platter :D And while at it, I must admit that I tend to forget that some people just might not realize it without any elaboration.

Could you do this Sun // eater a favor? and add the difference to loose and achieved.

ps for now i just added the loose version, goes better with my neck muscles.
