- NOTE: Total rewrite and remake of the mod to improve it in numerous different areas.
You CANNOT update from v2.0 to v3.0 on an existing save. Support will not be provided if you ignore this warning.
However, you CAN install this mid-save if you have never installed v2.0 on your save. - ADDED: The Gene Starcher, a new unique reusable consumable that toggles the Starched Genes perk on and off. This can be found in the Institute FEV Lab when doing Virgil's quest.
- ADDED: Automatic soft support for Immersive Animation Framework, if you have that mod installed.
- ADDED: Mutation serums now spawn on vendors that sell rare chems.
- CHANGED: Rebalanced all mutations to fit Fallout 4's scaling and vanilla perks, rather than being 1:1 with Fallout 76. Mutation changes are listed in the mod's description.
Changes include (but are not limited to):
- Scaly Skin / Grounded - Rebalanced bonus DR/ER resistance to be a % damage reduction, as bonus DR/ER is typically not very beneficial due to armor calculations.
- Rad Walker - Now slows nearby enemies in addition to dealing radiation damage. This should make this mutation a very viable option for melee builds. - CHANGED: Updated several mutation icons, using NoraChuChu's mutation icon resource. Credited in the description.
- CHANGED: Swapped SPID for RobCo Patcher, as RobCo now supports NG and has more features than SPID.
- OPTIMIZED: Major script optimization and logic improvements, The whole mod was rewritten with clean scripting and conditioning in mind.
- E.X. Processing for random mutations from radiation damage is now handled by a perk with conditions, magic, and script states. This is a vast improvement over the rapid-firing vanilla OnRadiationDamage event.
