I had judged too harshly before for being a mod with a required secondary mod that felt unnecessary. But i've since decided, "Screw it, I'll give it a shot with this load order."
I have installed the mod and the burst fire mod but the weapon doesnt happen anywhere, and it is desactivated when I look at the Bethesda mod manager menu in-game. Did I miss something ?
The original photo from F1 is of poor quality, so unfortunately there is not much to base it on. SIG 510 as base for Ak-112 is definitely an interesting concept, I'm curious what it will look like in the end. Personally I like AK-112 version from user xXlSigmalXx, it reminds me of the soviet equivalent of marksman carbine.
if you look at it, the Lienna 57 in it's base form actually shares quite a lot of similarities with the original sprite, the PBW AK-112 won't be EXACTLY just the Lienna 57, but it will for sure be using it as a reference for detailing and how some parts look from the undetailed sprite of 1/2 to the required detail of Fallout 4
I'm in the same boat, except it also tripped windows defender. Either the mod maker got infected by a "wacatac trojan" (That's what windows defender spat at me) or it's a false positive. Google chrome also blocked the download.
Personally, I wouldn't touch this mod with a hundred foot barge pole until we get some kind of answers as to what's going on.
It's a false positive, this kinda thing's happened before, windows defender is extremely sensitive when it comes to some of the stuff you find in a Fallout 4 mod every now and then (either BA2s or DDS files iirc). So no, I'm not slipping viruses into PBW weapons (The PBW world domination plan doesn't go into effect for another 2 years...)
Yeah, I figured as much. What alarmed me was how specific the alert was. it usually just says Generic virus type or something when it's a false positive, Often because it doesn't like what a program does or if Windows defender is just cranky that day.

BULLPUPS R IIICKYYYY
I've reinstalled it but it doesnt change anything
P.S. If you ever plan on making AK-112 next, can it be something like this?
Going with the SIG 510 as an inspiration is interesting. The result may be so too.
Perhaps it is still uploading?
