Introduction
It spent a lot of time in developer hell, undergone several complete rebuilds but here it is finally. The armor is my favorite non-power armor from all the Fallout games, it also was the main reason for me to even start modding FO4 a few years ago.

Features
The armor comes with several mod options from the vanilla like stat changes to actual visual mods like holsters or other tactical gear. All the visual mod options that differ from the vanilla armor mod pool have some unique stats or other effects which make them actually useful additions instead of just being visual mods.

I won't list all the mods the armor has in common with the base game armors, but here is a list of the visual mods mentioned. Some vanilla armor mods are not available for the armor due to balancing reasons.

Visual Helmet Mods:

  • Standard Visor Up/Down
  • Recon Goggles Up/down
  • Night Vision Goggles Up/Down
  • Ghillie mod, planned to be released with the camo skin pack
Visual Chest Mods:
  • Standard
  • Carrier: Extra pockets
  • Assault: Favors rifles
  • CQB: Favors shotguns
  • Demolitionist: Favors explosives
  • Plasma Specialist: Favors plasma weapons
  • Laser Specialist: Favors laser weapons
  • Ghillie mod, planned to be released with the camo skin pack
Visual Arm Mods:
  • Ghillie mod, planned to be released with the camo skin pack
  • Some other planned mods
Visual Leg Mods:
  • 10mm Holster Left/Right
  • Deliverer Holster Left/Right
  • 44 Revolver Holster Left/Right
  • Empty Holster Left/Right
  • 10mm Magazine Holder Left/Right
  • Deliverer Magazine Holder Left/Right
  • Knife sheath Left/Right
  • Ghillie mod, planned to be released with the camo skin pack
Decals And Skins:
All current and future skins will not have any faction specific logos, they may represent a specific faction by their color but the actual faction logos are decals that can be applied to all skins. This maximizes customization and reduces the needed textures to a minimum.

Decals:
Some faction decals are tied to quests, said decals are usually unlocked once you finish the introduction quest of the related faction. An exception are the BoS rank decals, which are unlocked at various stages of the BoS main quests to represent the player character's progression through the BoS ranks. See the pinned post for a detailed list of all decals that are available and how to get them.

Current skins:
  • Standard Gray (Base Mod)
  • Basic Black (Base Mod)
  • BOS Black (Base Mod)
  • Gunner Green (Base Mod)
  • Basic Red (Color Pack 1)
  • Basic Green (Color Pack 1)
  • Basic Blue (Color Pack 1)
  • Basic Orange (Color Pack 1)

Planned skins:
  • Different Faction Skins
  • Camo skins, similar to the Creation Club color scheme
  • Basic color skin packs
  • Skin pack with the remaining Fo76 skins

Jet Pack:
The armor comes with a fully functional jet pack, no breaking of the jet pack FX or reusing of jumping animations. Sadly all weapons with with custom animations need to be patched, there is no way around it but its really easy to do, see the tutorial article for more information. Not patching weapon mods will cause T-posing while using the jet pack in 3rd person. As a bonus, the Secret Service Armor jet pack also fixes T-posing from all other jet pack mods. I'm currently not aware of any other jet pack mod that adds the jet pack in the correct way. Such a mod would conflict with the jet pack animations that my armor provides, no big deal, just load the mod you prefer the animations from last.

Settlement Objects:
  • Secret Service Armor Holo-Display, can be found under Decorations>Misc

Balancing
The armor is the strongest non-pa in FO76, but its 200+ protection would be ridiculous in FO4, which is why I tried to balance the armor while maintaining its status as the best  non-pa armor available. The armor starts on a protection level similar to Combat Armor and is at its peak slightly better than the Far Habor Marine Armor. It also comes with a set bonus when wearing a full set of Secret Service Armor. Said set bonus ignores 50% of incoming radiation damage and provides the same underwater breathing time as power armor.

Implementation
  • Legendary Drops: Level 15
  • Gunner Spawns: Level 25
  • BoS Spawns: Level 20
  • Misc Mod Spawns: After level 20 in secret compartments from the railroad radiant quests, can be purchased from BoS vendors after level 25. Jet packs only spawn after level 40.
Credits
  • Dankrafft for the injection scripts.
  • Ajhakra for the cube maps used in the helmet lenses.
