Thanks for all the kind feedback, everyone!

At long last...new hair for Cait!

I laboriously weighed all the options and went for the hair that looked the best. It's one of Azar's, but not a ponytail. The bun style won and I think it works with fighter personas. I figured if Ronda Rousey could wear a bun in the ring, Cait could, too. And I think it looks fabulous on her.

    Enjoy!

NOTE: If you have not actually downloaded Loving Cait, your comments in this feedback forum for people who have downloaded it could disappear.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: "Bugs" under investigation that go without submitter response for several days will be considered abandoned and classified as PEBCAK. (Problem Exists Between Chair and Keyboard). Abandoned "bug" reports are subject to unceremonious deletion.

GETTING RID OF TENACIOUS SHOWLOOKSMENU MUCK UPS

You'll have to learn how to use Face Ripper. I recommend you download it manually here at Nexus.

Download the default Cait face in my optional files and deactivate Loving Cait if it's still active.

Make a special game save wherever you're at, quit. Rip the default Cait face you just downloaded (source) to your new save (target) with Face Ripper, making sure to choose "Cait" in the "target face" drop down menu.

Start the game and take a look. If she looks like old Cait, fast travel to another area, make another save, and reload it to make sure the default face rip is still there. If not, start over and try again. If it is, you're ready to quit out, and move on to the next series of steps.

Use face ripper to rip LovingCait.esp (source) to the "Old Cait" save (target) you just made, making sure to select "Cait" in the drop down menu for the target face.

Start the game and you should see an odd, stretchy blend of Old Cait and Loving Cait. If you do, fast travel to another area and save/quit.

You are now ready to install the Loving Cait mod as you would any other mod. The Plug in file loaded over the odd face rip save should give you what you see in the photos the next time you start.

Good luck. You can do eeeet.

And guys, for the love of gawd, spread the word to STOP altering companions with the console. You're just opening a big can of PITA. For the rest of your current run through, you'll have to do all these steps to swap to an update, or another Cait mod.

If anyone has an easier way than described above, please, please, please let us know.

New version 1.0.3 uploaded with dramatically rearranged face structure as we move closer to the Presets Collection.

THBrows is no longer required for Cait, but still being extensively used throughout the presets.

Consider this a preview snapshot of the presets. Cait is still subject to minor nudges and tweaks as we roll toward release.

    Enjoy.

I love this mod, reminds me of Ysolda from Bijin Wives mod on Skyrim.

my download of the mod gives Piper AND Cait the brown face glitch. I'd like to know why and how it can be resolved.

Thank you for this mod. Cait was by far my favorite companion on my first playthrough (with McCready being 2nd), but her appearance was horrid. I stuck her in Sanctuary until I saw this mod. When kitted up in a raider harness, Dragonskin vest, some leg and arm ballistic plates, carrying a heavily-modded M14 EBR, and a few body tweaks thanks to LooksMenu, Cait was a beautiful Valkyrie with deadly aim.

    Thanks again.

Any way to make this the look of Piper instead of Cait? Would love to have Piper with that face! :)

I use NMM and... i downloaded this mod and Ponytail Hairstyles by Azar v2.5a but my cait is bald :o .

same issue, cant seem to fix it. tried different versions of both Loving Cait and Azar Ponytails and still wouldn't work. tried reinstalling F4 and no luck. doesnt seem to be an issue with load order either? somehow managed to get UI a different resolution than the game while trying to change load orders, but she was still bald. havent had any issue with the discolored head like the others, just bald.

I love the screens, and the energy of the author... but this isn't looking to be plug and play.Having to go to comments about some faceripper.. all in all the head is discolored and thus the mod isn't usable. Happy to download other mods as needed and I'll read short and concise instructions, but way to much research is required to make this mod work.
