Deep within the forges of Saugus Ironworks, a small group of Forged elites that call themselves "Industrialists" set to work tinkering and experimenting to create a new breed of weapon, A large ramshackle engine capable of firing custom built explosive shells that are filled with all manner of vile substances by the machine and mounted with a blade designed to cleave foes in half, this Brutish implement leaves foes with little Shot of survival
These Industrialists, clad in custom Power Armor, may be few in number, but their might is unmatched.
Featuring:
-The Doom Engine! a highly customizable grenade launcher that fires tiny grenades at a decent rate, designed to be practical with its cheap ammo and number of potential effects to give it combat flexibility and niche uses that encourage experimentation
-Forged Industrialists! currently only two can be found, largely because the Forged are only in two locations, namely Saugus Ironworks and Dunwich Borers, They are clad in new power armor and wield these Doom Engines
-Industrialist Power Armor! an upgraded raider power armor with a distinctive aesthetic and high poison resistance
The new "Shell Rod" ammo type is crafted at a chemistry table. I think under "Utility"
I did my best to try to make this weapon fairly balanced, but with the right perks and certain attachments it can be quite the beast, ultimately my goal was to make a fun and customizable weapon that can suit many themes and playstyles, ranging from a effective primary weapon, an area denial tool, a damage over time debuff applicator or even a melee weapon! Do keep in mind that this weapon actually has a fairly small blast radius, so its not a traditional grenade launcher, but I was trying to make a fairly cheap and efficient thing, rather than a proper heavy explosive, so I recommend possibly keeping a missile/grenade launcher on hand for such situations.
hopefully everything works well
Note: despite the name this does not run Doom, however anyone is free to add that functionality. I'm sure it could be done
