this is maybe kind of a weird request, but do you think you can take all the assets of the game for statues and turn them into something that can be used in your settlements to place down, maybe it effects people's happiness or something.
while it is out of this persons skillset i might take a crack at it myself! if i end up doing it ill send you a message, just message me so i can remember who to let know.
Looks much better. In vanilla it looks like they were made of bronze or something and I think it was quite unsightly because almost every sculptures look green-ish like that, but for lore reason it seems logical since a lot of things were made from metal. Still, this mod looks farrrrr better than vanilla.
Probably because I just don't like bronze? lol. I'm sorry for all bronze lovers too.
more than likely copper that has been sitting out in the elements too long which is why the color changed from the copper look to a more blue green look, that happens in real life with copper, i believe that's what the statue of liberty is made of.
fun fact about that, copper is protected by the layer of the blue green stain all around it, it's not like other metals like iron where they rust over time, it serves as a protectant to the metal through that process funny enough.
so with this all said, it's actually realistic and lore friendly that they are greenish looking, but i do like statue looks for other materials, like this fashioned them to look more of stone created sculptures.
As metal they're not sculptures but "casts" - it's this mod that makes them stone sculptures (though many modern stone statues are also cast too, using a cement or crushed stone mix etc. Anyways, all copper alloy (inc. bronze & brass) will turn green with copper oxidation. And as cubbyman1 says, that oxidation binds to the copper forming a protective layer - that's why such statues are left to turn green.
working? what do you mean? like come to life and doing animations or something? god damn man, lol that reminds me of the robots that would attack you in bioshock infinite lol, they were robots fashioned to look like the founding fathers and were used to fight back the main protagonist in the game like solders.
