A memorial to my furbaby, Sookie, who crossed the rainbow bridge on February 20th 2024. All the items are craftable in settlements and increase settler happiness. More details are below the spoiler about my pet. Please, take caution if clicking the spoiler, as it involves animal death - but I promise it's a story as heartbreaking as it is heartwarming.

Sook was in my life for nearly 12 years and was both my best friend and like a daughter to me; I thought that the least I could do was make a memorial of some type for her. She was always on my lap watching me make mods and play games and dutifully watching over me as I slept (she'd sleep by my head, usually on the right corner of the bed).
She liked boxes like most cats, loved soft blankets, and refused to move whenever I made the bed so I'd have to make it around her, often tucking her in. She'd been in my life since 2012. Sook thought she was a vegetarian, her favorite vegetable being turkey - she understood english well but not the fact that she ate meat daily like a cat should. When told that turkey is a meat and that she eats things that used to be alive, she was horrified (I told her it was just a joke and that turkey is definitely a vegetable). On a daily basis she would bring me her favorite toy after "killing" it, her favorite toy being a fuzzy orange ball. Said fuzzy orange ball is now on my night stand by my bed.
Her final days were made to be as happy and comfortable for her as possible (she was on kitty-prednisone to help with the pain and other health issues). I held her the whole time during the procedure, swaddled in her favorite blanket, and before that she was spoilt with lots and lots of treats, love, cuddles, etc before she had to go to the next part of her journey. I'm doing my best to focus on the positive times I had with her, and there were plenty - I'm blessed to have had her in my life and it was an honor to have known her.
