Nah its fine, only problem is its a bit in your face when aiming. I'm pretty sure that's why he made it a bit different from a real MAT-49, like the barrel is way fatter so it lines up with your hands. You can always change vanilla animations.

Нет, не было и не будет того, кто рискнёт использовать ржавое оружие в реальности. Когда от этого зависит его жизнь. И в играх, где люди упираются в ржавчину, в ржавые текстуры, это выглядит глупо и не реалистично. Оружие может быть затёртым, пошарпанным, но оно не будет ржавым.
I just don't like pristine looking weapon mods because they look completely out of place in Fallout. Please correct me if I'm wrong but Fallout 4 is not real life and the world has not yet been obliterated by atomic weapons. How would some light surface rust affect the performance of your plasma rifle?

Keep it up! There's plenty of weapon mods that could do with a coat of scratches and rust.
This weapon I'm helping with The M14 - a Retro Battle Rifle at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) needs anims.
