To fix the missing mesh issue (Purple) since the author seems to have dropped this project from his radar, I used Bethesda Archive Extractor, opened Data\Fallout4 - Meshes.ba2. Meshes -> SetDressing -> Lightfixtures -> LightOilLampOn.nif and extracted it. Renamed it to WorkshopOilLamp.nif and put it in Data\Meshes\SetDressing\LightFixtures. You will need to set static with Place Everywhere to remove Havoc. I'm not a modder so I don't know how to do that portion. Haven't had an issue since.
is there anyway to make them lightly explode if u shoot them? thanks for the mod, really love it. question tho what is the best lighting option for the most relisc (irl ) looking brightness?
Ahh, damn. I thought I can craft it and place everywhere in the commonwealth, like dropping junk. I'm searching for light sources I can place wherever I want to make screenshots in dark areas (without adding light with the console)
Wall Oil Lamps by Higeyosi http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12234/? keep the general look of these lanterns but hang on walls. It is a great compliment to the craftable lanterns!
I made some of these to put in Home Plate but they wont sit on any furniture I build and the other home crafting add-ons i chose to install make the skins of the lanterns turn purple. I wanted to use Lore Friendly Posters and Home Plate Full Workbench but both made the lanterns purple.
thanks for this. i'd been wondering what turned the lamps purple. i had installed a poster mod, too, and i've no idea why but it seemed to have turned the flames purple in all the lamps from this mod. now have to decide: do i want the posters or the lamps...
Have the same problem. If the lantern is purple, there are missing textures. Think, copy the original textures, rename them and assign them to the lantern will work.
EDIT: Don*t no why, but suddenly they are there (Textures).
