i have the highest gun quals you can get in the military . This weapon , while it looks all futuristic an plasticy , is ridiculous . The magazine location especially. When you look at the design reloading this thing or trying to would get you killed plain and simple . The barrel to trigger length the width and the lentgth over all are all wrong for the average man . It would be beyond awkward virtually impossible slow and not smooth at all, you would basically have to unsling it then hold it up and fumble with it because lying it down really wouldn't help you . anyway whatever . also under powered and not enough ammo and harder to aim .
Nice mod. Thank you. However, I have two points that I want to raise:
1. The equipment sounds are way too loud. It sounds like my character is covered in plastic and banging his chest with child toys when he equips the gun.
Therefore I have changed the attenuation value for the following sound descriptors from 5 to 12. Now it sounds ok.
I know that this is based on personal taste, so I won't report it as a bug.
2. There is no animation transition from running with the gun down to idle with the gun down. So when I'm running and then stop, the gun snaps into its new position. I have reported this as a bug.
The weapon jitters quite noticeably for me, in first person, while not aiming down sight. When I ADS it's steady.
Any idea why this is happening? I have very few other mods installed, and don't see any that could interfere.
EDIT: Just checked your demonstration video of the weapon, and it seems to jitter there as well, when idling. Can this not be fixed? Personally I find it quite distracting.
I figured out why the active idle is a little jittery, I may eventually push out a patch for it if the animation begins to bug me. Thanks for your feedback
Oh boy yeah I see it too. Would you mind posting that patch to fix the jittering please? I believe this to be one of the best looking bullpup guns in FO4 and I'd love it if you could release it.
This is the only f2000 i'm using out of all the ones available on nexus. It's definitely my fav as I found this fits the most with my fov. Wish the sights' colors (those with brown parts) would match that of the rifle or just have it as the tactical black/grey though. Right now it appears as a darker brown than the biege/tan color the rifle body has. But otherwise yea nothing major.
This weapon is ridiculous ! how the mgazind just jams into your forearm as you try to rest or carry it. after den minutes with this ridiculous thing you would throw it in the dirt and go back to an AK or AR or anthing really. You couldn't hit anything with that short of a barrell unless you wer close enough to punch it. you couldn't reload it without getting killed either it would take way too long . silly and impractical and all wrong ergonomically and practically
Imagine complaining about realism in a video game, much less a mod for a video game. You can bring this argument to a real gun forum and have fun showing off your gun nut's "expertise" over there. Seriously if you are over 20, you should act like one.
I would first like to preface that im not trying to start any kind of kerfuffle nor am in the know of(or have a stake in) any kind of drama that may or may not be going on.
What are the differences between your implementation of this weapon from the other one thats available?
Im just asking to know if its worth installing this one if i already have the other one. As a huge splinter cell fan im more then happy to use up an extra esp slot(ill have them both installed since im not fond of taking mods out mid playthrough) for a version i like more.
On that note will be named the BP50 or FN F2000 in game(so i know if ill need to mess around in xEdit to avoid any confusion for myself to differentiate the two in game)?
Anyway its a beautiful gun and im always happy to see and grateful to folks like you who put in the time and effort to make nifty stuff like this.
Edit: after some testing i can say im happy with both of them, their distinct from one another to offer different shooting experiences in game.
The other one doesn't have leveled list integration (yet). So if you'd like that, you should use the one here.
Personally, I prefer LL integration for guns, instead of just crafting them on the chem workbench, so I'll use this one and remove the workbench option.
I also went through similar testing with all the F2000 releases (this, the other, and IceStormNG's) to see which I liked best. I definitely found strengths with each, and find it hard to choose lol. Ozzy always does a great job porting, with a ton of attachments and his clean ported reticles I've found especially rare compared to a lot of ported releases from other authors. 'The Other' has a nice true-to-original look and feel, with an available Side Aim patch but less attachments overall. However it does have fantastic fire audio that is similar to Ice's (Ice wins my favorite of the 3 audio styles, but it's close). Ice has a well-rounded true-to-original look as well, with the added bonus of some plug-in/attachment variations and an underbarrel grenade launcher option (unfortunately no grip alternatives). Overall I could play with all 3 in the same playthrough TBH, but I'm a weapons wh0re lol (about a third of my 800+ load order presently). ššš

Maybe in the future I will address the foly sounds, but at the moment I've moved onto my next project

I like how it sounds now. This gun will stay my main weapon for some time, I think.

If you have a issue with the animation then get a replacer

the other one is made by a less-than-pleasant person.
