exactly, i have the feeling like around 50%-90% of the CoD mods do that because people dont want immersion, the people that just use all the CoD addons just want a freeroam CoD game where they are a badass i swear
I just found out that WF is the reason vtaws mods are all gone. All because he wanted to win motm so damn badly and was losing to them. Nexus moderators really have to do better.
Lol. I'm just glad that there's backups elsewhere. Hope things get figured out and their stuff comes back to the nexus soon and WF's cod port gets disqualified for cheating.
That's crazy. I noticed WF was acting pretty erratically after his AK47 was uploaded. It's been a while since he previously uploaded too, and he seemed friendlier. At first I thought he was trying to turn over a new leaf, but I had a feeling that something was off.
I had a look through a reddit post about it and was just astonished at the lengths he went through to do this--even accusing Vtaw's mods of having CP in them--just to get MOTM? It's really sad. Vtaw didn't deserve to be bullied like that.
I want WFW to be disqualified permanently from participating from motm or at the very least this month's. And be monitored a bit more closely if any bad behavior happens again. Not saying to kick him off nexus, but he definitely needs someone to snap him back to reality.
Idk who, but I heard it was someone who also did cod ports and he had a meltdown, basically acting like he should be the only one to port stuff from cod. Which he doesnt do correctly most of the time.
Just out of curiosity, seeing COD weapons in a non-Activision game (the actual models) should draw a similar level of nausea, right? I mean these things are literally straight from the factory in a game that likely hasn't had a functioning factory in over 200 years.
Nah. There are clean guns in Fallout and manufacturing does exist Post-War, IE the Institute and The BoS, Enclave, hell I wouldn't be surprised if The Gunners had some sort of supplier who found an old facility to bolster their forces with experimental and high quality weaponry. Not to mention The Gun Runners literally can be seen making guns in Fallout New Vegas in-house and are a very successful arms manufacturer in the entirety of the Southwestern Commonwealth, The NCR has functional infrastructure, clean safe housing in some places with decent access to water (mostly), semi large scale agriculture etc. Plus have you *seen* what the Enclave has accomplished regardless of their losses? It's actually unrealistic and lore-breaking that we don't see more modernly manufactured weapons, as it would be more Faithful to Fallout 2 which largely defined the foundation of Fallout lore. Now don't get me wrong, a few scuffs and missing paint wouldn't hurt, but remember, a clean, well-maintained gun means reliable protection.
Also you can literally build a factory with the settlement system to manufacture weapons and ammo and become an arms merchant if you really wanted to.
Well as long as that gun is protected well enough it have no problems to survive 200 years. You can even find situation like this on game when searching nuclear bombs to liberty prime. Or you can restrored that gun, you can find multiple examples in current day where peoples take guns that are full rusted out and make them like new again
Can I suggest adding "COD points" to the mod title so it's searchable? If I wanted a fix for that, i'd search "cod points" but as of now there's no results.
