I found a bug where "SetGameTimeMult 0.0" did something to the grabbed object position data and caused the 3D model to disappear. To avoid this, version 1.1 closes the Favorites Menu immediately when "GetPlayerGrabbedRef != None".

Can you make a similar addon for Wheel Menu? The slow motion in Wheel Menu right now is a disaster. And by the way all your mods are great.

If you mean Favorites Menu Ex: There was a comment here by another person that ended in ambiguity. Could you please continue responding for him?

      I said:
      So, is it incompatible?

The mod image shows that slow time can be turned off in MCM. Have you tried it?

I know the mod author no longer supports Favorites Menu Ex, but where can I read a detailed description, maybe only within discord?

      Cyan,

Apologies for not getting back with my initial question. Had my hard drive fail and have been working on getting my modlist back in order. I came back here to see if anybody else had a similar request and here we are:

As of my testing today, your mod's effect is still overwritten in my setup (as described in my last post).

When I turn off the Slow Effect in the Wheel Menu MCM, your mod doesn't seem to override. The wheel menu will pop-up as expected, but your slowdown implementation is not apparent.

I am going to try and search for an answer for the last question. As I didn't download the Wheel Menu from a Discord server, I am not sure if the author has one or is a part of a server group.

Again, thanks for the top-notch mod and other underrated mods.

    Cyan,

This is a bloody useful mod! Thank you for your endless tinkering. your iFrames Dodge addon is a load order staple.

Quick question. I was hoping to ask how to make this compatible with the graphics/format of Favorite Menu Ex. Would you say it is just a matter of deleting the loose F4SE script, and leaving your script and ESP active? Any insight is appreciated.

So, is it incompatible? I haven't used that mod but didn't expect any possible incompatibilities, because as long as Favorite Menu Ex can still trigger the OnMenuOpenCloseEvent("FavoritesMenu") event, my mod should work. My mod didn't replace anything existing.

To answer your question, yes it is incompatible. The mod seems to override the trigger from your mod, as it uses its own Slow Down technique and Visual Effect (JetSlowDown, maybe?). It is a F4SE-based mod, so I can only assume that its changes "loads last" in my load order. It is a shame, since your pausing effect is so much more useful in 3rd-person gameplay. However, I will say it is a problem of my own doing as I cannot navigate the vanilla Favorites due to my D-pad Left and Right being remapped to keyboard buttons for a couple of my other mods (which is why I use the Favorites Menu Extended). If anything comes to mind in how to make them compatible, let me know. I may have to dive in and finally learn the Creation Kit to make this work for me lol. At any rate, thank you for the response and the great mod.

i like the idea, it's something this game has needed for those of us who play with a controller exclusively, it can be pretty daunting playing this game on survival with a controller at times, but i like this, it would be better if it just slowed time, but i read your description and it looks like that's another kind of script situation.

but it reminds me of a mod for skyrim called smart cast, where depending on the situation you could set spells to autocast at specific situations and i wish this game had these functions for people like me who don't have access to the majority of things i want to be in my favorites menu, so i'm normally stuck with what is on offer.

i suppose such a script could also work for this game but it would be based on what you have in your inventory and a set list of parameters where situations could engage given you have the item in question in your inventory, so if you wanted the condition to be based on combat event and health thresholds to administer specific chem like say psycho buff when your health reaches under 50%  but also an auto eat mechanic when in survival mode so you don't have to take up one of your favorite slots in favor for other things like weapons shields or stuff like that.

anyway i haven't seen any mods that offer something like smart cast for skyrim in FO4 yet, but i have only been playing this game for the last year and haven't seen most mods made within the last decade straight lol, so i don't know what's out there and nothing in the search helps me find such mods because they all have diffrent names that makes it harder to look for.

sorry i went off topic there, i just want more control and this mod does that in some small way, it's still a good thing regardless though.
