Noticed that a few people are having issues getting this working. What this mod does is simply add a perk with the following value that you can add in the console:
"Player.setav AimStability 2"
I've been using this mod for ages, but I'm getting crashing related to this mod (likely an interaction with another mod) and had to remove it, but the command works well, too.
Currently using vanilla weapons and so far this works, thank you!
I understand that weapon sway adds realism and all, but I'm gonna be honest: I'm playing a game, not a gun simulator. That said, I want to have fun. Weapon sway is not fun. It's annoying and somewhat migraine-inducing. Furthermore, holding LS on the gamepad to stop the weapon sway is cumbersome and not intuitive at all. No, I will not change my control settings; yes, I will rather use a mod like this one.
Wow, I see I'm not the only one, been using this for years and just made a new modlist, got into the new save and couldn't figure out why this wasn't working with my scope. I've looked at everything in xEdit but whatever needs to be done is beyond my abilities. No errors or conflicts, so ... bummer. I'm old, I can't be arsed to find yet another hotkey to hold my breath.
