Will mods that change pipe weapon spawns affect the spawn of this too? Since it's spawned wherever a vanilla pipe bolt-action does. I'm using the LL changes from Dak's weapon rebalance which makes pipe weapons spawn less frequently and I don't think I've seen weapon spawn yet.
Looking at xedit I'm suspecting that might be what's happening, but I'm not really that familiar with how stuff works here so I just wanna confirm.
Looked at the mod page and the comments and didn't find anything about this. I also checked the hammerless pipe revolver resource page just to be safe. When I equip the weapon and draw it, it still cocks the nonexistent hammer, and causes the shotgun shells to rotate.
Can I ask how the damage on attachments is supposed to work?
When I install the Basic Installation version only with nothing else, none of the receivers increase damage. The descriptions SAY they do, but its always 50 base damage. Weapon perks affect the damage correctly, but the receivers do nothing in terms of damage. The other stats do change, such as weight and value, when I change the receiver. And then the barrels dont do anything for damage since I'm using the basic install.
But if I uninstall and re-install with the Extra Installation, the receivers have the same issue .... changing them only affects the stat changes OTHER than damage, damage never changes, even with the description says so. BUT in this case, the top barrel DOES increase it.
I've combed over the description multiple times, but I'm not that smart I guess. I dont know what I'm doing wrong. (I'm installing with Vortex, but the Fomod seems to run, not sure if some files are getting placed incorrectly, I should check that I guess).
I'm not running any crazy mods, I never run mods that require F4SE, I have no gameplay mods, and I only have one weapon-altering mod which increases the double barrel shotgun base damage by 10%. I keep a small load order and nothing drastic, and I've installed weapon mods in the past.
So I can only chalk it up to ignorance. Apologies for having to ask, but have you seen this issue before? I have to assume its just a "me" problem, but this is my favorite looking weapon mod I've seen in ages, I love the look and feel. But I cant get damage receivers to work.
I honestly don't know. It works on my end, it's hard to debug a system that I do not have access to. That is why xEdit should be basic skill.
Damage works externally, that which it uses a perk system that multiplies the damage based on the keyword on a weapon. So if you have anything that disables that, then you also disable the damage system.
Had an issue where dropping some weapons would leave them floating and unable to be scrapped. Not sure if there's an incompatibility causing this or if something else is wrong.
Hello. I am currently having a bit oftrouble with this mod and I can't really tell what I am doing wrong (as I am 99% sure its something I am doing wrong, the other 1% just being my luck).
The issue I have is that all of thepipe shotguns are completely invisible (not missing as they don't show the error symbol) both in the pipboy menu and in-game. My character will “draw” and assume the stance of with the otherwise invisible shotguns (that still function as intended, they shoot and reload just as intended). I thought at first it might be an issue with “Pipe Weapons refined – Machined” by Micalov, or something getting lost from gmois retexture, but that doesn't appear to be the case. I have the Attachments pack and picked the associated patch in the fomod. I genuinely have no idea what I am doing wrong as F4edit doesn't show anything that would indicate an error (but I will admit, I am not super familiar, so maybe there is something I just don't recognize)and neither does Vortex.
If at all possible, could I ask for assistance? Thank you for your time and effort for masking this mod.
Thank you so much! I was able to find a program on nexus to downgrade the BA2 file and it now works. I realize this must seem incredibly basic but it really is a big help for you to give me an answer, when you really didn't have to. So, thank you again for both the mod and your time in helping me.
Do attachments not affect the weapon damage? I did the most basic install options on the FOMOD, and made sure to put it last in my load order just in case, but for some reason, whether I have the standard receiver, or a hardened one or a powerful one or anything, the damage value does not increase. Other things change such as fire rate or etc.
Great mod. Would love a patch to make it compatible with https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/43173 since the changes to the Pipe Revolver Receiver makes the pistol grip here float.
If you're taking suggestions, something that makes use of munition's 25mm grenades would be nice. Maybe a variant of this very weapon.
I also noticed that when I have the standard reciever on the anti-materiel rifle, the "pistol" or "rifle" part of the name gets duplicated. So it would read "pipe anti-materiel rifle rifle" or "pipe anti-materiel pistol pistol".
