About this mod

This mod makes changes to weapon damages to be more accurate to their ammo types. There is also a leveled list tweak to better balance some weapon spawn levels.

I always hated how the damage types in Fallout 4 are very inconsistent; this mod aims to change that! 

All weapons damages are now reflective of the base ammo type that that weapon uses. This results in a damage buff for some criminally underpowered weapons, like the Submachine Gun, and small tweaks to other weapons to keep them in line with their counterparts. This mod makes no changes to damage upgrade multipliers from attachments, and automatics still take a small debuff for game balancing.

The damages chosen are intended to give a balanced sandbox and a sense of weapon progression. All damages can be seen in this mod's article section.

With this mod installed, you shouldn't have to worry as much about enemies feeling like bullet sponges. 

This mod auto-detects what ammo a weapon is using and makes it use the appropriate damage. This includes all vanilla and modded weapons that use Vanilla ammo, DLC ammo, or Munitions ammo.

(Leveled List File)

There is now a new file with some leveled list tweaks.
This file does not require the main ammo rebalance. I encourage you to use them together, but you can download and use them separately.

The new tweaks do the following:
- Pushes 10mm pistol to spawn around level 10
- Pushes Double Barrel Shotgun to spawn around level 8
- Pushes Hunting Rifle to spawn around level 7
- Pipe guns now spawn much less often, to make room for new weapon mods. (except super mutants, untouched)

The goal here is to make room for all the wonderful new mods that add early game guns so they aren't immediately outclassed by vanilla ones. Now .22 and .32 can shine!



NOTE:
-This mod does not require munitions to function, it works automatically
-This mod only affects weapons that fire bullets, as they would have consistent damages. No energy weapons have been affected as their damages would come from the weapon itself. No explosives have been affected either.
