Works like a charm. The instructions seem overwhelming at first but once you have everything downloaded it takes less than 2 minutes to install. People here just like to be spoon-fed.
For everyone still struggling, i´ll try my best to make a step by step explanation:
1. Download all the mods as told and install them manually or via a Mod Manager 2. Then use the B.A.E. - Bethesda Archive Extractor and drag the blueteam - main.ba2 into it. Then extract the files into the Blue Team folder created in your Fallout 4 Data directory or if you installed it manually or your MM didn´t create an extra folder for it just extract it into Fallout 4 Data 3. Then do exactly the same with the blueteam - textures.ba2 file 4. Now it´s just rinse and repeat for the Petal Gasmask 5. But now we´ve reached an important step, because we don´t want the Gasmask with the sh*tty flowers on it, so open up the Gasmask NO PETAL folder, take the Petal_Gasmask_-_Main.ba2 and the Petal_Gasmask.esl file and overwrite the ones that are in your Fallout 4 Data folder 6. When it´s done, open up his mashup and use this files as a replacer for the files that are already in Fallout4/Data Folder. If your MM has created distinct folders for each Mod just drag and drop his folders into your data directory and you´re done, but if you did install it manually or MM didn´t create distinct directories you´ll have to open every folder, which are named like the mods, take it´s contents and drop it into your Data folder.
Hopefully it works now, but if it doesn´t work just ask under this comment, maybe I´ll find the time to help you.
I created a merged .ESP of the mod with FO4Edit and called it Space Cowboy.esp:
1. I followed the instructions for installing all of the mods. 2. Then I used BAE to extract ALL of the folders from the . BA2s of the following mods and deleted their associated BA2s after I copied their Materials, Meshes and Texture folders to the Fallout Data folder:
Blue Team
Petal Gas Mask
Petal Gas Mask - No Petal
This was done not only because they are no longer needed because the support files are now loose instead of packed, but it will prevent crashing-on-game load due to hitting the .BA2 limit -- a common issue with large load-orders.
3. I then copied the Space Cowboy mod manually, saying "Yes" to over-writes per the instructions. 4. Finally, to clean up my load order, I removed the following .ESPs before ticking the Space Cowboy.esp I created in my mod manager:
blueteam.esp
BOCW Outfit Pack.esp
Nox Outfit.esp
Obi's Cowboy Hat.esp
VtawWardrobe6.esp
VtawWardrobe8.esp
[W0LF]_EVA_RECONS.esp
So in the end, your load order should look like this, saving seven load-order slots in the process:
and why doesn't it convert the esl mods if it doesn't have a script nothing happens and if it has mods that link to that armor as a level list for the npc, then upload it to edit and then compact the mod to esl and the other automatic also changes the id and it works perfectly and even so it saves you from esp, that if you know a little bit of knowledge and have a goodI don't have any mods working,
since it has a perfect order. high-end pc you can do crazy things
Ok, so my hope to just install everything via Vortex and then add this esp got as expected destroyed. All outfits are still original. Anyone got an esp for this to share? I can't get it to work. I play with "A StoryWealth" and maybe there is just too much going on? I am also hesitatnt to do too much manual editing, not to destroy anything...
Looks great but Im with other people on this one, its a lot to do and reading Vrillified comment on how to make the female jacket showup Im just going to wait for a simpler version
If you could make a video showing how to do it that would be greatly appreciated
Got it to work. Thank you for the mashup it's a great outfit. While I understand it would be tedious to reach out to each mod author and ask permission, the other comments have a point, it should come as it's own packed esp file. Regardless appreciate the outfit. (Edit) I play as a female character, the male version comes with the coat, but the female version of the outfit doesn't load the coat. Did I do something wrong? (Edit) I found the issue if anyone is using CBBE files for the required mods it will not work, I got rid of the bodyslide files for the respective outfits that are used in this mod and then redid the instructions for using the mashup which got it to work.
First of all, I'm not too lazy to pack the mod myself, I'm too lazy to get the permissions from all the authors to to pack their files into my mod, secondly, if you don't want to do it on your own you're just as lazy as I am.
Hello! this mashup is amazing love using it for my character. Just got one question, what is that walking animation you have for the "Space Cowboy" GIF?
Yo why can’t I upgrade this outfit at an armor bench? The stats are cool but ballistic damage is gonna hurt a lot with this and no other armor. Please help
