Nice mod, but the first uniform, the home Concord Crushers has links to vanilla uniforms in the both files esp and esl version, to correct this is a minute task and thought I'd let you know about it
I haven't played around with the stats at this point, I just wanted get the Uniforms out there and keep it vanilla but i can look at the stats at some point soon.
There are some fedoras with ballistic weave, and a batting helmet would be a really nice addition to many other outfits. Having ballistic weave would make it so there are better fashion choices for helmets. I think ballistic weave is a much needed addition!
Dude yes! I am a huge baseball fan so going to definitely try this out. So glad to see a few baseball themed mods pop up the last couple weeks. These look awesome keep up the great work.
I'm glad you like it, you mean Major Pro League Baseball Uniforms yeah I've that mod in my load order for years, not that I've really used them much in game funny enough but yeah good tho!
I always wanted to ask him how did the Diamond City Demolisher even exist if Diamond City is post-war. Dude was making up random names thinking I wouldn't notice :P
😂🤣 You have a point there tho I'm suppose they did have a couple of hundred years to play with, hmm.. nah he's lost he plot he was whacked around to much with his own Swatter as a kid 🤣
I propose that a lore-friendly answer can be found through the off kilter explanation of baseball that Moe Cronin gives everyone who stops at his store.
I suspect that, some time ago, Moe came across a cache of baseball uniforms and equipment somewhere in or around Diamond City. Moe (likely) knows that baseball was just a friendly sport, but also knows there's no profit angle in that. So, Moe embellished things to make baseball seem more violent and, therefore, more appealing to wastelanders fighting a day-to-day battle to survive. Moe talked his version of baseball up until he was able to finagle a sweet contract to supply the Diamond City guards with his 'battle tested' sports gear.
I assume that some of the people who heard Moe's version of baseball decided that it would be fun to start up their own baseball league and compete against other communities and settlements. The 'baseball' they played wasn't the elegant sport of Ted Williams but more like American Gladiators. These uniforms might even represent current teams that travel about on barnstorming tours.
Hmm... Wandering bands of 'baseball' players duking it out for civic pride. Now there's a fun idea for a random encounter.
Oh my yep that does sound a good idea 'Wandering bands of 'baseball' players duking it out for civic pride'. I do like the sound of that. Everything you've said exactly would seem spot on actually, yeah I agree I think that is what we're meant to believe, and It sounds bloody good 👌🏻
