If you are having trouble getting the bench to open because it is saying clear nearby hostiles you can click on the bench and use command SetPapyrusVar OwnedByPlayer 1
NOTICE! This mod allows you to build stuff at Diamond City, and also scrap some of the objects.
But beware that this will not make DC as working settlement! You will not be able bring/spawn settlers, nor set caravan, supply routes, produce anything.
Can't get the workshop to open unfortunately. I've tried opening it at a distance, but nothing happens. Trying to open it up close just gives me the enemies prompt.
check the guy above,he managed to resolve the problem with a command. press ~ to open the command open the console commands, click on the workshop and write SetPapyrusVar OwnedByPlayer 1 then hit enter, also try in god mode using TGM command.
So scary! But man of God, you can't just discard everything in Diamond City, right? Especially if the guy hasn't done all the missions there yet. So you should explain the limits of what can and cannot be done, that is, can I treat the place as a common settlement?
From the explanation you say that you can do whatever you want, but wait, if I do in Diamond City what I do in settlements...
Either you are a genius or you will make a lot of people break your game.
you are right I will update the description. You can't discard just everything, besides useless stuff but you can place what you want where you want from what I have tested. I think you can assign settlers to farms and beds but there are none in Diamond City so you will have to build a beacon to make them come and work for you
edit: now you can remove everything if you follow the steps in the description, by adding a line into the ini file and using a command
Perfect! Now with this information I know how to use the mod safely. I always use the "disable" command, it's much safer than scrap, my .ini has been set to "bUseCombinedObjects=0" since I installed the game. To make it even more perfect, I'm going to make a request to the author of this mod Mod manipulate NPCs in the settlement to see if it updates your mod to work with yours, if mi could remove Nat and put her together with Piper it would be perfect.

I'm also using the wireless power mod from the Nexus and will use that from now on. No wires, no fuss, and better to look at no muss.....lol
I am also using the Neon Arcade mod for a lot of "rebuilding."
