Hi, I have no idea why but this mod doesn't work for me, no difference from using it and not using it. I am using the latest Robco patch and have weapons of fate installed (although I uninstalled it to test and there is no difference)
Sorry for how unspecific the issue is, but I have no idea how to make this work, any pointers would help
Are you on Next Gen FO4? Robco Patcher hasn't been updated for that yet. The author has acknowledged the situation, but has no ETA on a Next Gen version.
What weapon did you use for testing? And did the suppressor you test have the words Suppressor, Silencer, or Muzzle (likely a [Muzzle] tag) in its name? If the attachment does not follow standard naming conventions it would get missed by this Robco patch.
I can't believe this mod does not have a bunch more d-l's yet. Every time I go to the workbench to retool a weapon(like,a hundred times a day) I now take a moment to eyeball the impact on my range for any suppressor or muzzle break. This has become one of those mods that actually contributes something very useful at a basic level. Well, gotta go refill my kudos bag. Thanks again!
This works great. It's really nice to see that those muzzle attachments don't bite-off my range, but instead actually _add_ to it! Heheh Imagine that. Like taking the recoil off of the laser 'rifles'. Thanks! Endorsed.
Hey thanks for the mod but there's a typo in the .ini file so it only works for muzzle brakes. Also, I assume you excluded compensators and bayonets intentionally?
I see the typo. The typo is in "Supressor" (missing a "p"). It's not just muzzles that work. Silencers work too.
I was not thinking of addressing compensators or bayonets since the mod is called Immersive Suppressors. I only added "Muzzle" because some weapon mods (like MK18 and RU556) use that as a prefix for suppressors and don't actually have suppressor or silencer in the name. I can consider adding compensators/bayonets, though not sure if I'd add it here or make it a separate mod.
Do you have an extensive list of any other attachments that reduce range when they shouldn't?
Maybe I could've explained it better... I don't use any gun mods that have silencers so didn't think of them. I'm sure they'll work. It was just a friendly heads-up

edit: i just checked and the suppressors are actually the only attachment getting debuffed not muzzle brakes

Thanks so much.
Do you know if it works for weapon mods as well? I'd assume yes because it's a script but I could be wrong.
