    • [BugFix] In the next-gen update, some of the cameras for melee weapons took between 1 to 2 seconds to initiate the sequence. The bug has been fixed; now it should start as soon as the sequence is played.
    • [BugFix] At times, my character doesn't look at their target in VATS, while other times my character does look at the target but their eyes end up staring in a random direction (I'm unsure if this issue occurs only to me, but regardless, I added a mini-fix for this). A new option has been added in the configuration holotape (VATS Look At Target) to force the player to always look at their target in VATS.

    • [New Feature] An item (Candy To Change Facial Expression) has been added, which can be obtained with the configuration holotape. This item can be used to change your character's facial expression (48 facial expressions). The selected facial expression is the one applied in VATS. Each time you consume the item, the facial expression will change until it reaches the last expression, and then the sequence will reset. When the VATS sequence ends, your character's facial expression will return to the default, but the VATS expression will remain the last one selected.
    • [Changes] The green tint from the VATS sequence image modifier has been removed.
    • [Changes] The excessive saturation and bloom from the VATS image modifier when pressing the critical button and when hitting a critical hit have been removed.
    • [Pending Work]: Once the new versions of F4SE and MCM are released, these options will be added to MCM.

    Version 1.1.0

    • New cameras were added for V.A.T.S in melee. Only one type of camera can be active at a time, either Vanilla or the new cameras from the mod.
    • With the new cameras, a bug was fixed where fatal cameras would last for 5 seconds or more after killing the target. The bug still persists with Vanilla cameras. If you want to use Vanilla cameras, it is advisable to have all types of melee cameras active simultaneously to avoid the bug.
    • The camera types for ranged cameras have been separated. Now, you can configure fatal cameras, crippling cameras, and basic cameras independently. This allows for greater customization in the sequence executed in V.A.T.S.

    The facial expression setting affects the player's expression while in slm 14 lol

      Hi!

      That does sound like a bug, lol. I’ll see if I can make a hotfix when I have time, but assigning the facial expression to the player archetype should restore the player’s default facial expression.

    Hi, good in concept but remove that time between shots (camera transition) when you can chose critical. Please tell me if im doing something wrong.

      Hi, I didn’t fully understand the issue. Is the time between shots too long? The mod itself shouldn’t be modifying those timings.

      is too short, there isnt that time betwen shots and camera transitions to choose if use critical or not

      That's strange. The mod only controls the playback speed of VATS when using melee weapons. For ranged weapons, it should keep the normal VATS playback speed. You could try enabling everything from the configuration menu — that way, it should behave almost like the default. If the cameras are still sped up, it might be a compatibility issue with another mod.

      ok, i'll try again. I would like vats the same way but with only one kind of camera in third person without alter speed or something else. its possible do this with your mod? i dont use melee weapons.

      My mod doesn't change the playback speed of VATS; it only enables or disables the cameras and the angles from which the sequence is played. This is an example on how it works. 


      If you select only one type of camera for 100% of the shots, it might give the impression that the sequence is faster, since it never switches between different camera angles. Each camera type usually has a different playback speed. For example, cameras for lethal or critical hits tend to be slower to create a more dramatic effect.

      thank you for reply, i think this was the problem, I let only one camera. ill try configure to keep the camera for transition

    I'm downloading the file that says 2.0, but when I install it, it says 1.1 and shows there's an update. Is the version # on the installed file wrong?

      Hi. I fixed this issue in version 2.1.0 by combining both Next Gen and Old Gen into the same installer.

      My MO2 is trying to gaslight me and says its v1.1, but the archive says clearly v2.1.
      Because it's a fomod installation, it grabs the version that is written there and doesn't check Nexus?

      You're right, that's the problem haha. I forgot to change the version in the FOMOD. I think I'll release another update tomorrow and I'll correct the version then.

    Awesome mod, Is there a reason for having overrides for Out of Time and War Never Changes quests, or are they just some leftovers?

      Hi! Are you sure they were overwritten? I checked the .esp with FOEDIT and I don't see them overwritten. Which version are you using, Old Gen or Next Gen?

      No problem. I uploaded an updated version to align the Next Gen and Old Gen versions with MCM. While reviewing the esp, I realized you are right— for some reason, the .esp shows a change in the Out of Time and War Never Changes quests, but when I check it with FOEDIT, it doesn't detect any changes to those quests. I'll try to find another way to fix that.

    Very cool I love the angles. That's an endorsement.
    I've been playing with VATS myself by adding lines into the fallout4.ini, and I managed to speed up the attack time in vats, thus spending less time in the cinematic camera while attacking however, your mod seems to ignore my own changes and the attack  time/speed  is now back to vanilla (slow).
    My question is. . . How can I use your camera mod and keep my preferred very fast attack speed/camera speed ?

    Would it be possible to add an option to be force into first person VATS if the game isn't able to pick a camera from your selection?

    Like I have disabled all cameras that show my character from the front, but it still picks those sometimes (probably when I stand to close to a wall or something?)

    Edit: Also continued support for pre-next gen would be dope.

    During the melee attack animations, time would always turn into slow-mo, which caused the character's voice to sound very strange, and I wanted to change that. What should I set to turn off the slow-mo feature? The version I'm using is 1.1.0

    I get this error when i run LOOT
