I use him a lot, in many of my playthroughs and, IMO, version A2 sounds good and suits him. I use this in conjunction with Will Smith as X6-88. (That mod recommends this mod, and voice type A2). I came back to re-download as I've got an issue likely due to another mod. In scenes (affinity chats) his voice reverts to the original higher sound (it wasn't always like that, only started happening fairly recently). So, I'm currently trying to figure out how to fix it. If I can't I'll just head canon it and say, "I have a broken robot," lol :-)
Great job on this mod, I never play without it :-)
I havent gotten him as a companion yet, but if the voice is significantly deeper and it works without and distortion issues then this would compliment that T-800 mod very well!! The mod I saw isn't the best looking Arnold, but it'll do the job in lieu of someone taking the time to do a spectacular one.
Even without having tested the mod, I can pretty much guarantee that the voice is both significantly deeper (or slightly deeper, depending on which type you use) and distortion-free. But the act of deepening a voice does not provide miracles; if the voice lacks a menacing aspect - accent, tone, whatever - those qualities are not going to magically appear just because the voice gets lowered.
