Nice. Now that you made this one, would you be revisiting the "handheld" Browning M2? I so miss that from FO76, even it's not realistic other than in power armor. My favorite weapon. :-)
I wanted to try to set it so that I could put a keyword on it so that it could only be used while in power armor, but unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to get that to work.
Just an idea, but could there be a PA Arm or Torso Modification Slot upgrade you can craft that is Universal for all PAs (for max compatibility) called something like Heavy Weapon Mount. Then have the weapon check if the upgrade is present in order to be equipped. Or have it check for the existing vanilla stabilizers. I do like the idea of this mod. It's similar to Dak's Shoulder Mounted MG but that mod included automatic fire that was not only buggy but companions couldn't use it. So I uninstalled it. It would be cool if someone made a texture pack for this one.
Idk how to do that stuff either, although I imagine the armor modifications arent too dissimilar from the weapon ones. I made the suggestion cause i know coding/scripting to check for a single equipped object could be potentially easier than trying to do a check for PA as a whole. I just started learning how to mod this game, and its alot different than things I have worked on in the past.
Yeah when I found the model I thought it looked pretty sweet also I just wish it was a better looking model. But beggars can't be choosers so it is what it is. It is a hell of a lot of fun to play with in game though so at least it's got that going for it. LOL
I Love it! It's a truly heavy weapon. I particularly like the way the sight looks. After playing with it, it really shines on the long-distance bombardment, like using artillery lol.
Yeah Neo helped me with those sites so that they could be lined up properly, he did a great job on it also. I was pretty much using it as a mobile artillery piece myself, it reminded me of something from gundam or robotech or something like that.
Not a bad piece of ordinance. Color this one endorsed.
Edit: One small thing. The impact explosion does not show in VATS. The bullet does. On the other hand, I have a few explosive weapons with the same issue, so could just be a conflict on my end. Everything else works fine.
It's a game bug, sometimes when you shoot stuff it will explode in vats and other times it won't. I tried and tried to figure it out, but I couldn't get it. It would have been released a whole lot sooner had I just said to hell with it in the first place. LOL

Edit: So this is wierd. First few times I VATS'd, there was a bullet with no boom. Today, it's a missile and much boom. I figured this gat was built on a missile launcher; I have no idea why it's working now. But happy it is. Also note that if you have ECO, then some of the launcher componants can be modded onto the Ollie. Mine is currently rocking a targeting computer, which does show up on the model.
