Q: Does this conflict with replacers? A: Most likely not, unless the replacer uses the same keywords as vanilla guns it just wont apply the new attachments to that gun.
Q: Does this mod affect melee weapons? A: Naw, just guns but you can use THIS addon for melee attachments.
Q Why isn't thing I want in the mod. A: Either we didn't want to make that, didn't get to make that, or we will make it in a future update, suggestions are nice but begging is annoying.
Q: I saw something in one of the videos that isn't in the released version of the mod, why? A: Either Dak didn't think it was up to snuff to include or it conflicted in a way we felt didn't agree with our vision for the mod.
Q: Is this compatible with Dak's other mods? A: yes
Q: Does this mod add attachments? A: ...
Q: When's the next update coming? A: When it's done.
Q: Will there be a FOMOD? A: Nope, they're a real headache to set up, just don't use the modifications you don't want to use.
Pretty sure we have said this before, but just in case:
These are new assets, for those who are unaware, that would mean making all the cc paints again from scratch, for every, single, attachment. This would result in the mod being about 10x larger, as it'd mean new texture files for each of these. So you'd be looking at a HUUUUUUUUUGE file size. Also 10x the amount of work that this mod already was (3 years) Long story short, we will not be making new skins for the newly textured assets, but any nifbashed assets will already work with cc skins, and are technically already compatible. They just won't apply to a few parts. So mix and match and have fun
Mod seems to work awesome. I installed this mid-game and it kept saying that I lacked the requirements to craft things (perks that I already had) so I reset my SPECIAL and Perks using Quick Player Respec. Everything works great now.
Disclaimer: I installed this mod with a few other mods, no clue if this mod caused this. It's a great mod. I am only sharing this information in case anyone else runs into this issue installing it mid-game. This is completely a ME problem and not an issue with the mod.
This doesnt change the base receiver of the combat rifle assault rifle or hunting rifle, all parts are compatible with dak's remeshes and any right handed hunting rifle mods you might have.
This is a bit of a big ask, but do you think it's possible to add a patch for this mod and the "Pipe Gun Power Pack" mod by WarMock, as the ammo lists can get mixed up depending on the load order and the bolt-action shotgun has no right handed animation patch.
hi, I saw that there are 2 mods that add your weapon modifications to the commonwealth Implementation Patch and Randomized Attachment Packed Vanilla Guns I can't figure out which mod to install? which mod is relevant so that NPCs can have weapons with new modifications?
