Author notes
To keep it short and simple, if the asset you want to use is in the original mod you only allowed to use it as described on GrilledTurkey's profile page. Eveything else, including the new animations, sounds, some of the models and the custom behavior are either completely created by my own or based on FO4 assets and are therefore free to use for your FO4 related mods as long as you credit me for the used assets.

Changelogs
Version 1.1
Fixed power armor animation related visual bugs.
The rifle is now patched to work with the jet pack from my Secret Service Armor mod, has zero negative effects if you don't use my other mod.
The folder from which the rifle loads its models has been changed, which should resolve compatibility issues with mods that edit or use the same meshes.
The projectile is now hitscan, same as the vanilla ones.
Gives the CW gauss rifle a much needed upgrade, with new attachments and custom animations for the player character, human npcs and power armor.
Important The mod is essentially a completely new mod that uses the assets of the original CW Gauss Rifle mod. Using the remaster on an existing save where the original was already installed will cause problems. The remaster must be installed after the original mod.
Some people don't like weapons with proprietary ammo or want the gauss rifle to use fusion cells or 2mmEC ammo. That's why I created 2 optional patches, they only change the ammo conversion mod the rifles spawns with, the ammo type can be swapped any time on a workbench. Only newly spawned rifles are affected. Only use one of the included files. Load after the main mod. The ammo patches can be removed at any time.
Where to get the weapon?
The rifle starts spawning around level 30 on BoS members and vendors. It also has a 50% chance to replace the vanilla gauss rifle. The Volare unique spawns inside the Institute Advanced Systems, the YCS/186 unique Spawns on a corpse inside the cockpit of the Skylanes Flight 1981. Looting the YCS/186 unlocks the corresponding color scheme as a mod for all CW gauss rifles.
