Kudos. Love the idea. I hope you keep it up. Original,creative mod ideas coupled with actual ability are not always easy to find in mods. This mod reminds me of certain old(_old_) tv shows in the way-back. Love to see more variations of this kind of entrance. Of course,you probably already considered some. Good stuff.
it would be cool if all of these things went to some shelter, even the ones that have a corpse in them, maybe the ones that have a corpse in them are the ones that are broken and require some game skill to unlock, like science or something perks and some materials to fix the broken thing so it's repaired for use.
but it would also be nice if these things had a marker on the map when they are discovered or perhaps they are already on the map, just undiscovered or something like that, so they can be found in survival mode.
Thanks for your comment. A marker would help yes its true. I'm a survivalist so I play with no markers or HUD. It's a wild experience. My player homes are mostly designed to be small bunkers for sleep and supply which I remember by compass and visual landmarks
ok, if not any of the locations, do you think you can make more of them scattered across the map, that way they can still be found and there are lots more of them in all kinds of areas.
There used to be a mod on console that did that, I can't remember who from, where you collected a swipe card from the Museum of Freedom which enabled you to unlock every one. Each shelter contained all the necessary benches plus an ammo crafter as well. It was a very good mod.
Anyhow still going to add this, good location for a little hideaway.
How about opening the door to the bunker triggers a teleport that transports you into the bunker (like a suction) from every Pulowski bunker in the world. (When the door is triggered, the current position is saved as a variable. And leaving the bunker then triggers the return teleport. So you can access the same bunker from every Pulowski in the city.)
I can't start the construction set at the moment, so I don't have the opportunity to find the corresponding lines of code, but there are a lot of experienced modders here who can certainly help you.
The code would have to be entered in the base object, at the point where the welcome text is triggered in the code.
I'll try to install the construction module on my laptop at the weekend and then look at the data and maybe I'll find the right entries.
That would be beyond my skill level in the CK. Anyone who is willing to help expand the idea is free to do so. I think that is one of the beauties of modding and it's community. Someone already helped me NAVmesh my Loft Apartment mod and it was a huge help. My goal is for players who live in these worlds to enjoy their experiences even more, regardless of the way they play.
I literally had the same idea when i saw this mod! Although, I was thinking just making every shelter be the same bunker. However I like your idea better. That's not to say that the modder's idea for this mod isn't great in it's own way, I'm just saying it could definitely be expanded upon. I wish I could help but I am a complete noob at CK. I will be keeping an eye out though, and obviously endorse!
