Small update everyone, like really small haha. Basically the only thing that's new is just cosmetic. When you're in the Pipboy view the little bulbs flicker now. Makes the Pipboy feel more real and just generally cooler now.
There is a problem at present. I accidentally scrapped this Pip-Boy using the armor workshop. Since then, I have not had a Pip-Boy,so can I set it to be unable to scrap
Yikes, this mod is a janky one, I can see my arm through the screen and none of the buttons like inv and map are clickable, it used to work when i first got it, corrupted in minutes, tried also with only THIS MOD.
An impressive design in many respects and one which I intend to use in my next playthrough, but I do have a concern and a question.
Former vault dwellers routinely expose themselves to moisture-heavy environments such as rain and underwater. This design, like the one it is based on, does not appear to be water resistant. At the same time I see the appeal of being able to see that portion of it. The thought of an optional cover that included clear plastic and transparent aluminum (reality finally caught up to Star Trek a while back on that one) as options occurs on that front. Of course if this mod is even half as good as it looks from the intro video I can always just head canon that the exposed circuitry has been waterproofed and there's similar protection inside.
Is it compatible with the non-cosmetic portions of the Pip-boy Customization Framework mod?
Regardless, I look forward to putting this one through its paces.
Fantastic, works perfect. Even pairs well with 'Unequip Pipboy' but only use 3rd person view as 1st person makes arm invisible. Mind you, you probably don't want to hide it anyway as it looks so good.
Love the mod but the regular vanilla pipboy shows up when looking at my players arm in third person only. Using it in 1st person is fine but kind of ruins the imersion.
The screen is too warped because of the concave edge (which a real pipboy has) but in a game setting its to far away, I cant read the text or map. (I'm on laptop) I always use right click zoom but that doesn't do much to the zoom department. Its a lovely pipboy design but I had to uninstall.
Now I have another drama with disabling the pipboy effect which wont disappear. Have fallUI with disableFX plugin and tried the ini but no go.
