I've been trying to get the mod working for the past hour now, but no matter what I do, the new Pip-Boy never appears in my game. Furthermore, whenever I try to run the game without the mod (I've uninstalled it, launched the game, and reinstalled it two times now,) I never get the notification that the save file is missing a plugin, almost like the mod hasn't been enabled in-game despite Vortex saying otherwise. Anyone know what might be causing this?
you can change the vanilla pip boy FOV by typing fov 80 80 and the second number is the pip boy.This mod seems to change something about that so I second it for accessibility reasons.
If you guys are having problems with this and are using mod organizer 2 then just right click on pipboy flashlight > open in explorer > meshes > and then delete the pipboy folder and that should do it.
Do excuse me if I'm simply blind, but I can't find any way to have the Pip-Boy effects, or atleast the Pip-Boy color, affect this. Does anyone know any way? The white text feels... wrong.
PEOPLE! If your 3rd person pip-boy is still the default pip-boy, and/or you cannot customize it in the armor workbench, UNINSTALL PIP-BOY FLASHLIGHT. The mod is not yet compatible with it and that is what's causing your issues.
I managed to get a pretty simple workaround for now. You just export the PipboyLowPlayer.nif from Neeher's pipboy mod and place it in "meshes\pipboy\characterassets\" inside this mod's files. I haven't done extensive testing, but similar to the Pipboy 3000 replacement, I'd imagine it will have a little bit of jank because Neeher's mod doesn't include the light source node.
What doesn't work? Is it the flashlight or something else? I was building a mod list for a playthrough or two and looking to use this but I use NAC X as well
I am unsure of what they mean as well, I did take a look at NAC and didn't see any conflicting forms or Pipboy related edits. If there is an issue, I wonder if loading this mod before or after NAC will have any effect.
alright so it seems a sort of filter is applied over the pipboy where you have a black line around the holotape controls i loaded nac x after this mod but that didnt change anything so ill have to see if it does anything the other way around
I'm having an issue with this and NAC X as well, the pip boy shows up and looks great but I can't customize it. The only ones I can customize are the crafted at the chem station. I don't use the pip boy flashlight mod but NAC X has a flashlight option in it (I have that disabled as well) and maybe that is what's causing the issue?
