Hmmm that makes me curious where's all this vanilla wastelanders located. The only one I know is on the broken ramp near Big John's Salvage, next to radiated crater. The two on the boat looks familiar but I can't recall which boat they live in. The other three I've no clue at all, probably death and removed :(

Same as vanilla unamed trader (Not Opal, Leonard, Slim, Eleanor). In Fandom is said it has five but I only found four. One in a tunnel under Hangman's, one under the ramp near Forest Grove, one in a shack next to a small pond in the far west of Ranger Cabin, and one is the famous cat meat trader. Never have a chance to find another one, probably death too.

I like when they put some friendly human faces around the map (and mods those do that too, including your mods), it just gives more life to the Commonwealth.

The reason you haven't found the other three is because two of them are cut content and the third is part of a random event. I restored the cut content wastelanders with Cut Content - Female Wastelander and Cut Content - The Fisherman. The random event wastelander is the Moonshiner, who is dead from the start.

Don't worry, there are only four of those unnamed traders. The wiki's claim of five is incorrect.

      You're welcome.

The more I dig around in the files, the more I think the Wastelander faction was an idea that got scrapped or wasn't finished before the game's release. Of the six wastelanders I mention in the description, three appear in the screen shots, two are cut content (restored here and here), and the sixth is dead (detailed here). If memory serves, all of them are "Point of Interest" NPCs, too, so they have that connection. I have plans to revive/expand the wastelander faction, but the project is still in the early stages, so I don't know when (or if) it'll be posted.

It ensures that the handful of wastelander NPCs placed in the world use the available faces the game provided for them rather than reuse the same face more than once. For instance, there are files for three male wastelander faces. One of those faces is used by "the Fisherman," a cut content NPC I restored here. The second wastelander face is used by "the Moonshiner," a random encounter detailed here. The third male wastelander, as shown in the screen shots, was reusing the "Moonshiner" face rather than the third wastelander face in the files. This mod made the third wastelander use that third face. The female wastelanders went through a similar procedure. Now, when you encounter these wastelanders, each will have their own face rather than look like clones.

      Hope that made sense.

Wastelanders are few and far between, so it is no surprise that the duplicate faces go unnoticed. I only realized it 'cause I'm neck deep in my "Diverse" series. This mod makes a similar fix for the Norweigian ghouls, if you're interested.

I did this with a "patch" of my own, but it wasn't a very clean solution. Anytime I see you post a new mod or fix I just d/l. I have a whole new world of NPCs thanks to you.
