Months ago I did a pool on the Fallout 4 Reddit mod page for Xbox to add a weapon to vault 111 and they voted for the Steyr Scout Rifle and it finally here. The idea is that the player will have a rifle that can carry them to end game just like the 10mm pistol if they want to. If your not familiar with the scout rifle concept an scout rifle is an rifle chambered in 308, uses detachable magazines, weight between 6.5 to 7.5 pounds, be 39.5 inches long at max, and have far mounted a eye relief scope for quick target acquisition, and ghost ring sights for backup. In short, its a rifle that serves as both a personal protection rifle and a hunting/survival rifle which serves Fallout 4 well. You can thank Jeff Cooper for coming up with the scout rifle concept in the 1980's.

My head cannon lore is that the vault scientist were given serval guns for survival (as you can see the 10mm pistol) and they also gave them some scout rifles should they need to go out of the vault on their own and you are the lucky person to get the last one. So what does it all come with?

Just like my first mod this mod also has legendary effects that work in the background. What these effects do is add some realism as in depending on what caliber that you are using you will gain a damage bonus (1.5x damage) on certain targets as just like real life you can have too much bullet for certain targets. So how do I get my hands on this thing?
You can find it on gunners, in shops, and (you cant miss it) in the vault. Enemies using the rifle will have these buffs as well which will make snipers very dangerous which they should be but they shouldnt be overpowered.
