Explosions pass through objects. Nowhere is safe. Save your game often. Baseball grenade, missile launcher, and fat man buffs.

Description:
Vanilla explosions have been flagged with "Ignore LOS Check" which means 3 layers of concrete wall will no longer protect you as long as you are still within the effective radius. Explosions will pass through objects and damage anyone within its radius.

Consider this a warning. If you see that grenade indicator on your HUD get the fck out of there.


I also changed the baseball grenade because it sucks and I don't like that it does.

It now explodes on impact and it has a farther trajectory. Don't worry anyone who likes the throwing arc from Demolitions Expert it adjusts accordingly to the speed and gravity values of the projectiles.


I buffed the missile launcher and why not the fat man too.

I didn't like that the missile launcher is a weaker long range frag grenade. It has less damage value than a frag and significantly less force (affects how strong it throws away objects).

Missile launcher explosion damage is doubled and fat man and unique variant from nuka-world has additional 100 damage.
Grenade's have 2000 force and these heavy weapons have less than half of that so their force value has been increased to 2000+.


Consider this a second warning. I'm not even gonna put up with any of the unavoidable realism and balance complaints I'm disabling this mod's posts section.


These items are affected by this mod:

- Every type of damage dealing grenade from the baseball grenade to the nuka grenade.

- Every type of land mine.

- Nuka-World added grenades, MIRV and Smart frag grenades, nuka quantum grenade, and the fury grenade. Persuasion grenade already has the Ignore LOS Check flag and the Predator grenade doesn't directly affect its targets anyway so I left that out.

- Missile and Fat Man launchers and the Nuka-Nuke Launcher. When that BoS soldier said running into a fight is a good way to get killed I'm pretty sure this is why.


Optional file:
Plugin applies the same Ignore LOS Check change to 25mm grenade, 40mm grenade, and rocket from Munitions.

I made this because I use Munitions. If you want this effect for other ammo mods then just copy the change I did to the mod's explosion records with FO4Edit.


Compatibility:
Any grenade or explosives overhaul mod I guarantee conflicts with this. If you want a better experience with explosives and don't care how its implemented I suggest you use those instead. I made this to make explosions more fun and challenging for myself without relying on overly complex overhauls.

If your mod weapon is not affect by this mod please make sure it uses vanilla explosions.

Any mod that modifies these records will cause a conflict. Whichever mod you load last will take effect in your game.
The projectile record has changes that make it explode on impact and have better trajectory.
